My Game collection is above average. In fact im' backlogged so i have to hold off on wasting money on games. (90% ps3 exclusives)

They finally give US the consumers a truthful eye. The LIES and deciet to pitch a game as "HD" and run it SUB-HD is not tolerable and I won't support that kind of product. Every game this generation should AT MINIMUM run at 720p@30, this is NOT DEBATABLE.

Their portfolio isn't the greatest, but its always good to see new faces in any industry.

I think they continue to forget about "Brand Recognition". You don't buy a Wii/WiiHD over a Playstation 3. It just doesn't happen. Two very different markets. Just cause you slap an "HD" on the box wouldn't change the market.
If anything it would confuse the consumer. Not to mention the Buyers of the Wii are already satisfied or un-satisfied with teh device. The very concept of the wii is a "Party Machine". Many have already fell victim to Overpromis...
LAN for this game and DIABLO3 are very important features. This is "BLIZZARD" there games are played on LAN more then any other games!!!

It has NOTHING to do with arrogance. They put too many features into the system and had a bloated price point because of it. It was 600$ at launch not 800$ and it was worth every penny. I do agree a 100$ price drop is significant to reach more of the average consumer, but unless their is a Slim line with cheaper...
If all consoles were released right out of the gate...

People just forget about the 1 FULL YEAR headstart with zero competition. A 100$ price drop would be massive for the consumer. Hopefully it won't kill Sony too!

How can the SCEE and SCEA be so different? Not only in themes/colors but also in features. Even more so in the interfaces used and the websites hosted giving those features.
One thing M$ does right is UNIFIED approach. It allows for organization and a shared vision of future developments. The work SCEE, SCEA, SCEJ are all counter productive. Sometimes even using man hours to re-create something that already exists in another region.

I could care less. Makes no difference in the game play for better or worse. Its just an added 'violent' facade to say.. "Hey look at me i'm cool cause i'm Violent."
NG was never cool cause of the violence. It was cool because of the technique and visceral gameplay. Heightened skills and reaction time to be a SUPER NINJA!

Now instead of a gore-fest its a game. Love it! Can't wait for all the new features!
The one game I really wanted on the Playstation 3 (always knew it would come) is the definitive version. I love playing the most 'feature-rich' version. I'll wait the extra year, since I already waited an extra year for the PS3. Its only natural some games take 1 year longer, but to get MORE features and better balancing and bug squashing just makes it great!
