I found this update very underwhelming considering the massive hype around it.
The only noticeable change that i care about so far is the fact that my ps4 no longer automatically connects to the PSN and if i try manually connect too soon after start-up the PS4 goes back to the start-up dynamic background forcing me to logout and log back in again. I'm not particularly happy to be honest.
I couldn't agree more, the current UI layout for games is already bloody annoying, god knows how long the menu will be in a few more months when loads of big games drop. Come on sony, pull your finger out

When games go back to ps3 and 360 prices then I'm sure they will sell better too. I don't understand the £20+ price hike on games this gen. One minute everyone was saying x86 is easier to develop for and the next it was all about how higher prices are justified. We've gone from shops selling cod games for £25 brand new on release to ghosts which dropped at my local shop for £55.

I recently got my hands on an absolute bargain second hand PS3 from a facebook sale. I totally recommend getting a ps3, Ive only had it a couple of weeks and ive already got a heap of backlog to play through (thanks to the ability to add games to the download list which i started doing back in december with the PS4)
My only gripe with the PSN is the download speeds. I'm on a 40 meg line yet when I download from the playstation store be it ps4 or ps3 I barely get half that speed. Tonight I've been trying to download bioshock infinite. It's been downloading for just under an hour and I'm only 700mb in.

Yeah I totally agree, this game is awesome. I don't care about fps or resolution when playing this. Just give me more and more zombies so I can get into the top 1000 on endless already!! I wish more people played multilayer though

Yeah i personally think this is great news. They made a good choice and hopefully he will push for some new great AAA games. This made me decided to get myself the Xbox One now to keep the PS4 company later in the year, so i can start to enjoy the best of both worlds

Ive had a really annoying problem trying to sign into PSN since the update. My ps4 takes about 5 minutes to login from start up, if i try to do it manually it boots me back to the dynamic boot screen and i have to logout to get functionality back. Im paranoid as hell now incase the system bricks on me.
