Who said it was for full ps3 games? It could just be really big PSN games like WipeoutHD. Besides there are full PS3 games like Burnout and Warhawk. Read the "PS3 glich demystified article" basically the ps3 was confused since it's system clock counted leap year for every EVEN year but in truth leap year only occurs every four years and 2008 was a leap year so the problem never arose. It's OS clock and system clock were at odds.
