Why would they ditch the classic, cartoon look for this abomination? It makes it look like PS3 game...
I remember back when just even entertaining the idea that one day companies like Blizzard, Rockstar, Bethesda, etc. would turn into shit companies would be absurd and sacrilege but here we are.
This is where we see the fall of Rockstar. They may continue to make GTA6 and be a success but the spirit of Rockstar is long dead, they're just like everyone else who are just out to make a quick cash grab.
I just hope they don't "GTA" it or try and make it like RDR2 with the floaty controls.
I have RDR2 and I just have so much trouble getting into it. RDR1, I've played so many times, I'll gladly replay it again in a heartbeat if remastered.
If it's another Marvel game, I really hope it's Doctor Strange because he's the one character who would truly fit as a videogame character.
Judging from the downvotes so far, there's only 5 who would want it. I overestimated.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around who the hell this is for and why would they pander to the 20 people who would possibly want this.
I'm bummed its not on 3 discs.
When you spend over 75 billion dollars buying up studios, you better shine in some way.
No, there's a lot they could do for the third game. In fact, depending on how Rebirth plays out, they can do a lot more "original things" and yet still follow the story. They could scrap the entire Huge materia arc or modify it so that all the summons and stuff are now quests. They can go full open world with the airship, let us modify, upgrade it, hunt the weapons down. Make Knights of the Round a questline that makes sense instead of just finding it randomly in some cave. The ...
I'm super relieved to hear that its on 2 discs because it just means theres A LOT to cover and it should end where the second game should truly end, at the northern crater and not the city of ancients.
I refuse to watch any trailers for it. I want as freshest eyes as possible.
It makes the most sense story-wise to end after the Weapons emerge. That's usually how these 2/3 part stories usually end when the heroes are at their worst point.
Queue the echo chamber of shills crowing on about "I like the game so I don't mind dropping $30 for a helmet cosmetic that I may or may not use still within a week". It's just so funny to me that they'd rather price these things at outrageous prices instead of making more accessibly obtainable for more people. These aren't even MICRO-transactions anymore. It's just paying full price for a game for a single dumb costume.
I find it hilarious that people think this thing will play well using a some random Wifi or cellphone hotspot. The amount of lag and shoddy connection will feel like you're playing a game in 144p and still have input lag. It has to travel from your PS5's home connection and then again to wherever you are. I've tried remote play with my laptop next to my PS5 and router with my 400Mbps connection and it still looks like a bad YouTube video when I play and I lose connection within mi...
If your wife is on your PS5 then this device is worthless to you...because it relies on your PS5 to stream to it...
I'm sick and tired of them too.
I am so sick and tired when these damn companies keep releasing things with low storage space fore absolutely NO reason and then charging a premium for it. If you're going to screw people over like this at the very least put in a damn microSD card slot.
Wait a few months when they realize all but 5 people bought one and it'll be found at your local mom and pop for $50.
