Too expensive, wait what ?
The steam box is competition for Xbox and PS i think.
Yes it is a PC but it will be running Linux, not windows meaning Steam has a lot of work to do :D
I think it is great that steam are going for linux, i just hope they don't put a massive price on this, something around the price of the PS4 would be amazing.
i thought RYSE looked rather average.
but i blame gametrailers on that for messing up my stream quality grrrrrrrrr
Who is to say they wont change back again, once everyone has bought one :D gonna stick to PC/PS4
it is so they buy the consoles i would imagine
would be better if PES got all the licences instead of EA :S
Does Fifa 2013 not use the frost bite engine that BF3 uses ? i could of sworn i read that somewhere.
That would be relevant if Fifa was on steam, but it's not so your comment is irrelevant.
This is just EA making an excuse as always, a lot of people will be jumping ship to PES (i will be one of them)
Better games reduce piracy also, games that have been properly tested and not released as betas ala SimCity 5 everyone always jumps on pirates sure what they do is wrong, but at what point do people start getting on the backs of people who make these games that are not fit for release.
Steam has put a dent in piracy, but not because of its DRM, but because of how cheap games are.
To me it is all about control, some people don't mind not having control over something they paid for, not me. Yes sure you will be connected to the internet anyway is it always 100% ? not where i am from (UK Virgin Media) my connection is down at least 4 times a month, yes that is not a lot but when it goes down i cant play something that i paid for ? where is the fairness in that. I could go and do something else sure, but what if i don't want to, what if i want to play with my Xbon...
not really as you can now trade or sell ur steam games :)
you can sell your games on Steam or trade them.
"So PC gaming is still more restrictive than PS4"
How do you work that out ? PC devs are not forced to use DRM methods, just like PS4, i am really not sure what you are meaning, can you elaborate please.
Most of the time they chop parts out of a full game for DLC Content, and bug fixes ? EA is the worst for this, i am not even sure they have a team to test there games.
and me and mine
Because it is GTA!
They are all the same, only difference would be the amount of people playing i would imagine more would be on the xbox than P3 and PC
I think EA is going to lose a lot of customers this year because of this, i will certainly be one of them a long with a lot of people i play with.
@hazelamy
"if i download a pirate copy they didn't get paid for that copy did they."
the game had to be bought to be cracked, so yes they still did get paid for that copy.
i think what a lot of people forget about piracy is, most people who do it wouldn't buy the game anyway lol i only buy games that i know i am going to get a lot of use out of, and it is essential that any game i buy has some multi-player or i skip it.
