Why you so but hurt about PC
i am on 120/12 being upgraded to 152/12 next month, virgin has done away with download caps, they just cap your upload now :S
paying £50 for internet tv(XL) and phone(XL)
But will these new features be on the PC version :( or will us PC users be fobbed of with PC not powerful enough rubbish from EA again :S

It says at the start of the article it will be for both Steam OS and the Big Picture Mode for the PC client, how did you miss that.

wut o.O have you actually seen SteamOS running lol it is basically like a console, do you find consoles to be a headache ?
And the alienware system will be upgradeable from what i hear, after a bit of fiddling. Though i don't understand that as these things should be easily upgradeable, and that would be the main different from the consoles. I do hope something changes regarding this.

That depends what defines BETTER to you as an individual, there is only a small handful of games on consoles that i would want to play, RDR and boxing and MMA games which for some reason r not on PC don't know why, but PC also has it's exclusives, don't hate just because something is different.
I would say the steam sales have an opposite effect, i buy games because they are cheap that i would normally not buy at all, that's a gained sale that they would not have had, and i highly doubt i am the only person that thinks like this.
Plus don't the game owners have to agree to there game being on sale and by how much (no idea, i am asking)

I cant seem them only making games for linux, surly windows would have to be included, and exclude from PS and Xbox seems about right to me.
I don't think any game has to be made specifically for steam OS, from what i understand, the games are just modified, i could be wrong.
Plus with multiplat games, i am sure they will be made to play on steam OS, maybe not yet but i am sure valve have something up there sleeve.
why do people keep saying the Steam OS will have no games, isnt this the norm when things like this launch ? i mean how many games does xbone and ps4 have at launch o.O

That's coz us PC users r waiting for a worthy upgrade, i have a HD5770 and i have no need to upgrade this yet, it plays everything fine for me, people only upgrade when there is a need to, ann right now, there just is no need to upgrade for anything, yet.
If you have bought 3 x 360's after them failing from the same thing, then that's your own damm fault lol what's that old saying, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, but you went and done it again hahaha
@dsswoosh, i have never read such crap, i don't believe you have ever seen the inside of a PC, you have no idea what you are talking about.
people need to stop living in the past. PC's do not cost thousands to run games at max anymore (you can spend that if you want though)
