@snipercontrol beat me to it lol
Ori is incredible. But it's not an indie game :) published by Microsoft
Im keen to know what else you played and impressions
Ive only tried heists and honestly the experience blew my mind away. No preview can prepare you for how immersive it really is or can be
Like I said, I'm going to give it a go. I'm going to see whether immersion outweighs resolution, see where my preferences are.
I think this is a good thing.
When I get my PS VR, I do not expect it to be a replacement to be PS4 experience. A majority of my games will still be played on there while the PS VR is more of an addition to my regular experiences, which I'm excited for.
That's not to say there won't be long experiences available on the headset. Resident Evil 7, Gran Turismo Sports, Dreams and Ark: Survival Evolved all look to be fully playable on the device.

I'm a GOW fan and I'm stoked by the change.
While I personally loved 3 at the time, I do share your views when Ascension came out.
They were doing something like Guerilla did. That was Stigg's came and it was supposed to be an open world Sci-Fi RPG written by the dude who writes Battlestar Galactica. But Sony cancelled it. This is Cory's team now.
Balrog also told Colin Moriarty that it's mostly like tomb raider but a bit more open, so think of it as connected mini sandbox hubs I guess.
And who made you ruler of the numbered systems?
a 5 to you is different to someone else's.
Personally I wouldn't play anything under a 7. a 7 to me is an average game, 75-80 is good, 80-85 is great, 85-90 is fantastic, 90+ is pretty much masterpiece.
Anything below 7 is not worth my time.
OMG It's like we've known each other for years!

There is a very easy determining factor. Sony has these stickers on all their different types of exclusives on their boxes including timed exclusive.
The sticker on the NMS box art says No Man's Sky is a Console exclusive. there is nothing to suggest it's a timed console exclusive.
So there you have it.
I do remember.
However, it's not farfetched to think that Sucker Punch has two studios like Guerilla and Naughty Dog and one could be working on a new IP as well as this.
I think a lot of the foundational assets from Infamous Second Sons could be used for Spiderman
I do believe after Second Sons released, the team expanded.
hmmm... depends what he means by fail.
Critically it was a success. Doesn't it metascore over 80 or something?
I am not too sure about sales. Did not hear much about it so cannot comment on that.
Edit: why is the left hand side of the article cut off? is it my browser?
This guy has contradicted himself multiple times though I do agree with his overall argument
Firstly, Sony in fact had two first party exclusives in 2015: MLB the show and tearaway unfolded. He used Uncharted: Nathan Drake collection as an example of a second party exclusive so Tearaway should count as a first party.
Secondly, Bloodborne and Until Dawn (Sony's successes of last year), might be developed by second party but Sony owns the franchises. They b...
Congratulations to Microsoft and Remedy. Job well done
Just want to be fair though, it is one of the only new IP's on the xbox one. Halo/forza/Kinect Sports/Killer Instinct are established franchises while titanfall and sunset overdrive did not belong to Microsoft. Not sure what the deal is with Ori and the Blind forest but that wasn't as marketed (I adore that game).
So while yes, the sales are fantastic news for Remedy/Microsoft, being the best sell...
I gave them the benefit of the doubt with waiting since 2012 and the delays, so I'm doing the same with this. One of the most memorable and engrossing experiences I've had in gaming and it's my favourite.
They can take their sweet time with this because after this we won't be getting another witcher for ages :'(
Might be something they look into for future games, despite saying they won't come back for a while
didn't mention a thing about the story but ok.
One things that excites me for VR are genres I don't usually enjoy on standard screens like ravers, on-rail games and simulators.
But I think VR will change a lot of people's outlook on certain genres
