I want to disagree with the end of this article saying it was a cash in and Rocksteady were made to do it. TBH, after watching countless preview, interviews and talking to Rocksteady devs myself, I have never seen a team that wanted to make a game as much as this.
It was their choice in fact, not WB. they were ready to move on, but when they got the headset they couldn't resist.
Rocksteady have already confirmed they expect the game to run for 1 to 1.5 hours. sorry to disappoint....
I will say VR Focus is usually pretty good with their VR coverage. For some reason, batman arkham VR is probably the only PSVR game i actually disagree with them.
I've played 7 PSVR demoes and batman Arkham was the best
Gran turismo has been delayed until 2017.... the rest are good to go :)
@Lordmaim unless you were living under a rock for the first two years but sony lacked a lot of new first party titles for the ps4. That's what I'm talking about. How driveclub was promised and ended up being delayed a year only to be broken.
The constant delays of holiday games like the order, uncharted and most recently horizon and gran turismo.
There was a clear mismanagement of Sony IP for the console which has been improving over the last year...
Mostly due to killzone and knack not being very good and the driveclub scenario
Meaning the only new game worthwhile getting excited about was infamous

I hope it's good but here's 2 things I know of DICE:
1. Every trailer theyve done looks phenomenal. From battlefield 4 to battlefront. They just know how to make good trailers
2. They make horrible campaigns. Their last great campaign was for bad company 2 in 2010. Battlefield 3/4 campaigns suck. Battlefronts single missions are really meh and mirrors edge catalyst was a huge let down for me plot wise

Guerilla did a great thing by including RPG features many of us love like crafting, elements, levelling up but really took all the boring stuff out and replaced with features of an action game. That's why the combat looks so fun etc.
Yeah the devs are closed. Yet here we are with driveclub VR releasing in October.
Regardless you don't need the original creators to patch in HDR lol and patch it to support ps4pro

The only one really sorely missing from the UK one is the resident evil kitchen demo
The rest of the worthy experiences like battlezone, RIGS, driveclub, eve valkyrie and wayward sky are on the UK one anyway
Battlezone does have a pretty extensive and deep campaign though with 4 player co-op and a range of different tanks and customisation options
Why does any metal gear game published by Konami henceforth deserve a chance?
I'm sure it's been confirmed this will be standalone and owners won't get this at a discount
What about how well sony is handling games like horizon: zero dawn? I think that has been the best handled first party exclusive this gen marketing wise
Agree about bethesda software IPs but I think they've handled Dishonored, DOOM and Wolfenstein really well

As you pointed out Sony was one of the first companies to make 4K TV's and have had an investment in blu-rays. Therefore, Sony would have a tonne of data relating to 4K and blu-rays (and 4K Blu-ray). How many people own it, the rise or decline of the medium, the adoption rate, the usage etc. I wouldn't be afraid to bet that Sony has looked at data for 4k Blu-ray discs as opposed to 4k streaming and downloading and decided it's not even worth the investm...

I'm pretty sure titanfall 2 has been shown in ps4 sizzle reels and the ps4 banner being under certain banners for the game. Also I believe e3 demoes etc use the game with ps4 controls.
All point to ps4 having a marketingredients deal with titanfall 2 while xbox one got the deal with battlefield 1. Which don't even make a difference anyway lol.
