LOL. Sucks for them to get a taste of their own medicine.
"where GT5 has 16" "while gt5 is a smooth 1080p with AA."
More like 1280x1080 with ghosting. Yeah, that which causes your car to become invisible so that frame-rate won't drop significantly. If PD can eliminate that then 'more power' but for now its cheap and annoying online. If the GT5 retail plays like Prologue it will be a complete bumpercar-fest both off and online.
@ShinFu
You might be right on how "approachable and fun" Shift is but overlook the general physics and racing guideline in NFS:Shift. One word... HORRIBLE! Fun c0ckpit view and driving but once it got down to it, it wasn't fun at all. It felt like I was drifting all the time no matter how much grip I had or how fast I was going(fail), and couldn't rely on the guidelines until I was used to the tracks which was quite annoying compared to Forza. No simulator can compar...
Quite a mature answer Marty... -bubbles
And I completely agree... yet, I'm still going to buy the game. Can't wait.
As soon as I tried Chrome I never looked back.
If the graphics are the least bit decent, this game will NOT disappoint.
Tell that to Insomniac, after the 2nd R&C it got mediocre and "the same". Kameo was a new IP coming into a new generation of video games, it was a great concept with perfect execution. I disagree. Blame the 360 gamers who wanted a more hardcore title, but you wouldn't know nothing about that either of you never owned a 360.
Unfortunate... Kameo:EOP was such a great game.
LOL. I've always wanted a track editor with my arcade racer. Can't wait.
Well, gameplay is not surprising at all when you've played the 1st two games to death. I'm still waiting for some story reveals to intrigue me to reconsider this game.
the game doesn't even run at a solid 30 frames. Never even reaches the 60 frames many were claiming was to be the fps. Fail. I warned you all stop hyping this game and take for what it is; a great series with fantastic storytelling. The rest is petty.
It's not a matter of IF but WHEN Resistance gets destroyed by Halo Reach...
@Jack
Funny stuff. *tracking*
I messed up and bought the PC version, controls for m+kb suck. Controller UI won't show up and it won't run on just any hardware. You have to have the best to play it @1200 res on just a mere 50 frames. Screen tearing also plagues this title on PC... had to enable vsync manually(ini files).
*Awaits 360 version on gamefly*
@Jamie
Owned much?
No need to apologize Jack, you hit the nail on the head a couple o'times.
"let Trine get a price drop $20 is waaay too much."
That is bad advice. Trine debuted on PC for $40, $20 on PSN is a good deal. I enjoyed it, no multiplayer but it looks gorgeous and has good replay value.

Unfortunately for you, real life numbers state Microsoft has been profiting for 2 years now.
...and the internetz.
