Ubisoft is one of my favorite developers/publishers, its sad to hear this.
Konami committed the worst sin. They gave 1up contracts to sign on the spot right after playing their game and said they could not release the review or leave for that matter if they didn't sign the contracts. The worse part were the contracts themselves, stating they could not mention the amount of downloads this certain game required and the length of certain cutscenes of the game. Despicable. What game was this you ask? Well, MGS4 of course.
I think having steam is a darn good thing, never had a problem with steam. Well, maybe when my connection gets cut off 'cause I forgot to pay the bill and it won't let me play my games offline without confirming it online first. Other than that, keeping track of your games, game saves, and being able to download a game you bought ages ago whenever you want online and for it to still work is awesome, but I digress. There could be more things happening behind the scenes than we might be lead ...

God, I remember that part. It was brutal in Veteran difficulty.
The flashlight lighting has been much improved indoors. Can't wait.
Edit: It does look a little unrealistic outdoors though, for the record. Hopefully that gets improved.
Looks to have great atmosphere and the characters already look and animate better than Fallout 3. I've been watching this game for a while now, can't wait.

I'm with Jeffgunz, Bad Company 1 was a disappointment. The singleplayer for BC1 was atrocious, multiplayer... forgettable. BC2 from what I see looks really good and looks to be fun, but what about Single player? We'll see when the reviews start coming in.

Unfortunately he's right, my take is that the PS3 couldn't handle the textures without dropping in framerate. It still doesn't look bad though, its just that the 360 version just looks better.

"Disc unreadable "
Had that happen to me with Gears 1 on the 6th month of me playing. In the campaign, I couldn't get past a certain level. The disc was absolutely flawless. Right after the cutscene when Kim gets killed, it gave me an error. Don't know why it happened. Lucky for me, there was a checkpoint afterwards. So I just reloaded. Fortunately, it was the only time I ever experienced this "disc error".
Correct me if I'm wrong but where is this PS3 bashing that he speaketh of? Actual quotes with links please. And not that thing about Live being head & shoulders over PSN, everyone knows that.
