I'm with Deathrow. An absolute atrocious rip-off and an insult to the Gears franchise.
At least Dante's Inferno tried to set a standard. Dante's actually runs BETTER than God of War 3. Oops, did I just say that? YES! It runs at same resolution as GodofWar3 yet at a higher FPS, a solid 60fps.
God, even the blood in this game looks like Gears of War blood(Epic purposely made it cartoony). They copied everything, pathetic.
Why did they have to go for that gritty look. It doesn't necessarily work with all games. This game used to have the bright, Crysis look -- what happened?
Shadow of the Colossus was genius. I don't see The Last Guardian having the same impact. I mean, the monster in it looks horrendous... absolutely terrible. TLG doesn't look impressive at all, that could change but right now I'm not hopeful.
ME1 looked stunning on 360 how will this one not look as good?
Actually, I NEVER liked Solid Snake's voice. I cringe everytime I hear him. Nolan, on the other hand, is quite pleasing to hear.
Nolan's a very talented voice-actor, one of my personal favorites.

The hype is commencing. I'm already hyped for this game so I won't be paying attention to these adds, just adding my 2 cents.
They're great smart phones. Tried all phones, at last the iPhone and will never go back. This is just rumor, let's wait on the Apple announcement before we get our hopes up, though. Here's to the new iPhone having HD output like Zune!

Microsoft bans are for the sake of software companies. Hardware sales would only skyrocket if software piracy was not dealt with, like with the PS2. No one would buy software just hardware. It's bs by the usual fanboys.

Good numbers all around. 360 stood it's ground with relatively few exclusives on the plate. PS3 did well, congrats Sony. These numbers were expected at launch though. Nintendo dominates as always, with both console and handheld.

I'd say reconsider. FFXIII's English voiceovers are some of the best of ANY RPG I've heard. I was ready to cringe and count it out as another pretty FF title until I saw the trailer. Truly unique with top notch voice-acting.

Nope, #4 is actually true. They show the actual back & forth with Microsoft and Epic about inclusion of the chainsaw in the final game. All of it is there on the bonus disc for GOW1 Collector's Edition. Including Cliff's first time meating with Bill Gates, taking a picture, and the priceless expression on Cliff's face when Bill imposed a November '06 release date for Gears(about an 8 month window at the time).

First of all, that gamepro article talks about "control scheme", not cover system(dumb *ss). 2nd, everyone knows the cover system from Uncharted was taken from Gears, not the other way around.
