even then I would take "their" word over some random commenter on N4G.com. I myself would have reported on what I saw not what I felt, having been there(not seen it from a stream).
I agree totally. Don't forget death animations.. unacceptable. This is a game we're gonna pay for, fix it!
agreed
uh... is this the REAL Cliff? autograph, daps, chainsaw me in half...something!
nice
OPEN ZONE PLEASE!
I disagree with Gears 1 not selling anymore, after 2 years, it's still selling just because of Gears 2. With Gears 2 inevitable success, those that didn't get to play Gears 1 will be getting it to check it out or get prepped before Gears 2 hits.
This one was also funny to me...
I hate DHL...they leave all my packages outside, never wait for someone to answer the door and never takes the package back if no one is at home to sign for it. They left many packages outside my door without anyone signing for them and I live in an apartment complex, near some housing projects. I had one nice neighbor give me a package a week later telling me the DHL left it outside on the floor. I had 2 xboxes ship (different times) from them that were left outside on the floor of my apartm...
LOL
It's yet to see a nextgen release. I'm curious to see how it will end up looking and playing.
So it was Ratchet & Clank that sold ps2's when sales slumped and not GTA? Sure you're right.
I remember when ps3fanboys used to brag about this being an exclusive now they say, "the game is crap anyway". Funny, when it's exclusive to your console it's 'the best game ever', when its multiplatform,'its crap'. Funny how Call of Duty 4 is one of the best shooters ever on all platforms. Also, I think a monopoly is when you buy whole companies just so the other platform won't have any of those games. Buying exclusives for a time is not a monopoly. It's "smart investing"...
@steph
You almost always reply to comments and never keep them open. Tsk tsk.
@everyone in here
2k is the last Dev you should blame. Blame Sony for building the hardware the way they did. It happened with GTAIV. The PS3 doesn't do antialiasing well(it corrects jaggies) without a performance hit. They used antialiasing on the 360 and the blur filter for PS3, to have less of an impact on the framerate. Its a technique Devs use for the PS3 which has a...
Haha! That video was hilarious. Especially the teabag-a-cop toward the end.
It's been 2 years! You mean 2 MORE years. I thought by now Bluray would catch on. I was wrong but it could still catch on. I heard Pioneer has made a bluray disc that could hold over 16x the amount a dual layer can. Anyway, I hope it does catch on and for God's sake lower the prices on the Blurays please! We might just get some if they weren't soooooo friggin expensive. All I know movies shouldn't cost as much as games, imo.
agreed.
Smart move. I think Sony's lost too much money with the price drops prior, they need to get that money back. The price is fine, I'm not complaining. The ps3 has a lot of features AND bluray 2.0, it's worth every penny.
PS3 games have texture pop in too. I know 'cause I have one. One example is Uncharted: Drakes fortune. Unfortunately, a lot of games from both consoles suffer from this, either way they are minor. If downloading fixes these minor issues, I'm happy... if it doesn't fix 'em, I'm still happy. It's not a big deal to me.
a lot of that space is being taken up by the emulator for backward compatibility. It takes up a couple gigs. Its the reason u need a hard drive to play original xbox games.
Contrary to popular opinion I'm glad they tuned the game up. I really enjoyed this game on the 360, albeit with frustrating controls.
