LOL. I remember someone always writing that. It was cool cuz it was funny and he got us all excited about the game.
I absolutely loved Gears 1 on both xbox/pc. I hope Joshua aint writing this one. Gears 1 had just enough story but not too much to convolute it(a la MGS4) and more than enough gameplay both off and online. Gears 2 story? Not so much. But played the heck out of it either way(check my achievements). GOW = win! More Gears? Bring it on.
LOL
Gears of War = The real GOW ;D
There you go ps3 fans, take out your frustration by making Valve's top man blow up Boomer-style.
LOL
I would have to politely disagree. I haven't had this much fun for a long time. Campaign, survival and best of all, versus. It's really the social aspect of the game and comradery that makes this game worthwhile. Too many games to play this year, Left 4 Dead and Gears PC are the only games I come back to to play online.
Nice one. bubbs
Ouch! lol
I have the "superior version" on my super-uber Crysis-destroyer pc and guess what? I play with a controller, and you know what? I r4pe with one hand behind my back. That argument is old and practically dead. We prefer analog to WASD and this coming from an oldschool hardcore pc gamer for real. Btw, I prefer the quick fun 16-player action of Team Fortress 2 on the 360(I still own both versions[again, hardcore pc gamer]).
"PS3 fanboys just play games because of how good they look not how good they are..."
e.g. Lair, Motorstorm 1/2, Heavenly Sword, etc.
Quoted for truth.
"Left 4 Dead 2 not on PS3" opposed to "Only on PS3". --LOL. Classic!
I know you two may be tied emotionally to your beloved ps3 but I quoted those simply to highlight my point. Game on.
George Santayana: "Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it."
"...the limited library of titles, lack of third-party support, and a refusal to reduce pricing until almost the end of the product's life cycle were among the many issues that led to 3DO's demise."
"The Jaguar eventually faded away due to a number of reasons. For example, it was difficult to program, thus making it too problematic to have good third-party support."
I can quote on and on about the failed consoles from past generations. Take heed ...
Psyched for "games on demand"? That's a big yes. Happy about ps3ers always trolling our threads? No.
LOL. Loved every bit of that post. bubbs
Attach rate for Xbox 360 is 8.2, more than PS3 and Wii combined! Spin it anyway you want to. Sony dropping the still-so-high price is the real concern here though.
Although, I'm not for fanboy wars those are well layed out bullet points. +bubbles
-bubbles at all the pathetic comebacks. Humor me fanboys.
"I'm getting concerned about Sony; the PlayStation 3 is losing a bit of momentum and they don't make it easy for me to support the platform. It's expensive to develop for the console, and the Wii and the Xbox are just selling better. Games generate a better return on invested capital on the Xbox than on the PlayStation," Kotick says.
There you have it from the Head Honcho himself, the Xbox and Wii generate a better return.
It seemed like he was trying too hard to be funny. I still enjoy his show but he just seemed out of character in this one. Oh well, like boys will be boys... Steven will be Steven.
X-Xbox already reserved! LOL
In an interview with British newspaper The Times, Activision Blizzard CEO Robert Kotick has threatened to drop support for both the PlayStation 3 and the PSP as early as 2010. He points out to the fact that his company will be forced to so because business is business; the Xbox 360 and Wii are selling better than the PlayStation 3, giving better returns on investment.

Now subtract all the games not coming this year. Ah... you see, now it's looking pretty skimpy compared to Microsoft's. I won't make a list, just making a point.
