For folks who say that people are ignoring trade in let me ask you this. Say you bought the PS5 for $500. Take into account that if you're spending ~$350 (taxes etc) to get the Pro that you've effectively spent ~$850 on just the console alone within 4 years?
Not including any of the other things outside the console you've spent money on (peripherals, games, and PSN services for X years).
Out of this gen it's the only game from Sony I'm hoping make it over. If not no worries bunch of other games to play.

This title spent at least 3-4 more years in development and the range of cost is between 100m to 200m. Even Redfall had a better all time peak. Same goes for suicide squad.
Wasn’t this in development for 8 years? It’s funny you mentioned those two. They lasted longer and at least had more of a player base.

While I enjoyed Killzone 3 there was something about Shadowfall that I couldn't get enough of. Loved the refined gameplay, love the multiplayer too.

SOCOM is different enough from CoD but scratches that military itch. I missed out on a large portion of socoms heyday but when I finally got on my god was it fun. Up there with halo at the time for me.

I started looking at this site around 2007, and I distinctly remember how one-sided it was (heavily leaning toward Microsoft vs Sony). I JUST started paying attention to this site this year after stopping around 2011.
It's fascinating to see how the discourse on this site has largely remained the same but is in favor of Sony at this time. I don't get the need to put blinders on this hard.
I definitely don't think so. inFamous looks like the gameplay will not only be gorgeous but kind of refreshing. Not every open world needs to have blood and gore to be engaging and fun. I look forward to this game but I really want to see what kind of boss battles will unfold.
