I still remember getting the gamecube at launch just for Metroid Prime. And I really fell in love with the intro and the atmosphere. I love the science fiction mix with the action as well as other elements. These guys in my opinion are pretty up there on my Best Developers List. And I agree. Imagine what they could do on consoles with more specs and HD capabilities.

But I would have to say that in this generation of gaming, the 360 does dominate in quantity of RPGs. However the qualities of said RPGs is debatable and your going to get different responses( I don't necessarily take reviewers scores to seriously. I mean look at the "perfect" score they gave GTAIV) Through all of this backlash the PS3 is getting about RPGs, I do believe Sony is working on that. I mean if the people see a lack of RPGs heading simultaneously or exclusive to the PS3, ...

Whole heartedly agree man. I can never understand why people want to defend one console over another. It's like they don't get the fact that each company learns from their competitors and try to either mimic the competition or come up with something better. That is how all business survive. They are all fighting for your dollar and that should make you feel warm and special inside:) It's competition that brings innovation, not one "almighty" console.

Interesting fact actually. But jack you gotta realize that fact has nothing to do with this article?

With classes and activities around campus, and just everything life throws at you, I don't think a student has time for 30+ hour games (just speaking for myself). But I do hope replayability is good. One may not have all the time in the world to enjoy a game , but you also would like to know the game is worth $60 as well.

How can you tell its a flop if it didn't come out yet?

Yea reading the comment again i realize he wasn't really pointing at me lol. But I'm new here and I've been reading these articles and looking at comments. I must say that if you try to be objective here, it looks as if certain types of people would be all over you? But why? Hmm I don't know the history here on N4G but the way people praise one system and completely trash another just doesn't make sense to me. Unless you provide constructive criticism. But some comments I've read makes it loo...

Wow so I'm a 360 fanboy? Word? So if someone is trying to be as objective as possible with a comment he's labeled a fan boy? Hmm...Didn't know N4G worked like that.

I actually am genuinely interested in this game and I want to hear more when more information is released, so I don't know where this fan boy stuff comes from.

But geez man chill when you throw that around. Being a fan boy to me sounds like being ignorant, and foolish, which I am not.

Does it really have high replayability? I mean I know if the main character dies the story will continue, but I really want this game to be epic though.

But you do realize a lot of people have been waiting for a remake like this though right? I don't really care if it was Street Fighter 2.5 or 2.6 I'm just glad the original cast is back and there bringing street fighter to the roots a little. (However I will miss Hugo and other SF3 characters.) Whether this game is a huge hit on the store shelves I know this game will be a huge hit on my PS3:)

All in all however, I probably will get it. I just hope it has more detective like scenario's like with the trailer. If this game is like a suspenseful, psychological, philosophical (maybe), thriller, I will be all over it. I liked Condemned but then the story got really weird and the hallucinations weren't even scary. But this game seems to be very real, and emotional too. I don't know, after The Darkness and the connection the player had with Jenny, I have a newfound interest with games tha...

Okay indigo did I speak for everyone? I've put in many hours in Oblivion and I still haven't finished (Haven't played recently). All I'm saying is that they (like Oblivion and other games before it) should have strong replayablity value. I would like to know that I'm shelling out $60 for a game that won't just satisfy me for two days. Others may be okay with it, but personally I like replayablity.

I actually saw noticed that too. Good point, it looks kind of awkward for sure. But I really want to get this game.I passed on the 3rd one cause I actually missed playing the original cast from 2 (But I think I made a mistake, the 3rd one was actually good to me). I was thinking on getting Tekken 6 but since I have 5 DR I might just wait and buy this one instead.

true but they better if they are going to go for people's wallets. There is probably no multi player(maybe), so they should definitely work on re playability for this game

However sometimes I wished they would include Backwards compatibility as well as headsets and HDMI cables within each console order. But then again I wouldn't want them to jack up the prices because of my opinion. I just know one gripe I have about the PSN is that it's hard to find people communicating for the most part. Well hopefully Socom changes that.

Must agree with you Silogon. I was trying to explain to someone else on a separate post how the attach rates on the PS3 is starting to increase its motion. And definitely when it comes to resources for gaming and gaming branches, Sony Playstation takes that cake and eats it.

I looked at the videos, and your right. The aiming seems to require a lot more skill for sure...But there's so much content for R2!

well I think I'm probably just going to suck it up and pay $100+tax and get both...

Chances are that people looking at this article are all for Socom. I get it. I never played Socom, but I need a crack game and MGO didn't really deliver for me. Plus I hear Socom is call Socrack. Seems like it fits my needs, but that brings me to my problem. I want Resistance 2 as well. So, people, as objectively as possible, which is a better pick; Socom Confrontation or Resistance Fall of Man 2?

very very true...I like all systems, they each have favorable advantages, but the ps3 is a useful investment for sure. However when the holiday season rolls around, will potential buyers know that?(I'm speaking for the U.S right now) I do think if the PS3 marketing this season can work effectively and let people see the potential long term value of the product then my hat goes off to you; juuken your right. but with the "recession" in the U.S and everybody looking for the next cheap...

im not ignoring what 360 has done for publishers. but you can't ignore what the ps3 is doing as well. didn't EA say how much of their sales was attributed to the ps3 at one point? and look i know the wii is a novelty. i play that with my younger siblings and baby cousins. but i cant get enough of smash bros and super mario galaxy. But like I meant originally, even though I see what Xbox360 is doing for 3rd party developers and publishers, the populace is still voting with the wallets. My comm...
