This damn game just ruined my accuracy % on OpenCritic.
I bet it would get an average of 84/100... it's at 75.
What a flop!
Guardian Heroes will always be my favorite.
It's one of the "killer apps" on my favorite console of all time: the Sega Saturn.
I don't even think it's the best game of the year...
I hope that's not the case because I REALLY want a new Zelda in the same vein as A Link to the Past.
I clearly don't have a problem with open world games, since I love Horizon, but this Zelda just didn't do it for me...
After finally playing this game, I still can't say whether it deserves all the 10/10s.
But I can say one thing with absolute certainty: it's not for me.
There are several mechanics in place that annoyed the crap out of me. I really hope their next Zelda is more similar to A Link Between Worlds than this.
Let's hope this isn't a sign of things to come...
"Switch trying to periodically auto-connect to WiFi where there is no network available."
You have to pay extra for that.
(Not even joking, you actually do.)
The author? This list is from Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong...
There is no such thing as an objective game review.
Destructoid tried doing it once, for fun, and yes it was a nice joke. But that's all it was...
I'm tired of saying this in every review that gets posted, but I'll say it one more time:
Magazines have multiple reviewers. It wasn't Bjørnebekk who gave Horizon a 9/10.
Even if it had been him, the games are different enough to warrant considerably different scores. But again, it wasn't.
Is that it? That's the controversial joke?
Am I missing something here?
"Some" issues indeed...
Let me know when the New Nintendo Switch XL is out.
Slant has multiple reviewers and this one, Jed Pressgrove, put NMS in his "WORST VIDEO GAMES OF 2016" list. At number 5, to be precise.
I understand that you might be mad because of Metacritic and all that (pointless) stuff, but let's try to be fair here.
We, as in the Sony/Microsoft fans on N4G, not the reviewers.
I honestly don't care what the Metacritic scores are for those titles. If Bloodborne had an alarming amount of "full-on freezes" like the ones mentioned in the Zelda reviews, I would be the first in line to show my discontent.
Then again, maybe it did have them and I just didn't notice. But I'm sure someone would.
Jason, please.
To be fair, if a Sony/Microsoft first-party game had as many framerate issues as this Zelda has (in docked mode), we would be tearing them a new one...
Check on OpenCritic. Far more transparent than Metacritic.
Or don't. Either way, he's a very well-known and respected reviewer.
Not that I agree (or disagree) with his review, I haven't even played the game. It's just how it is.
96 on OpenCritic.
Still 4 points higher than my guess. It's fun playing the guessing game on that site, lol.
Excuse me, the Wii? That little white box that everyone owned?
Right. Be happy that it's going to eclipse the Wii U...
