Well they're focusing 100% of the rendering power on one human head and face, so not any time soon if you're expecting there to be anything else in the scene. And then longer if you're planning on running it on anything less than a high end professional GPU.
It's certainly my favourite controller to play with. The DualSense is excellent, but this thing is just in a different tier in many respects, and the cost reflects that (and then some). If you're looking for a single controller to play everything with on PC (or Xbox I guess) I do highly recommend it.

I think this poll really tells us more about the IGN reader base than anything else. Anyone with half a lick of sense and who's been following games media for more than the last few years knows not to bother with IGN.
Not sure about that, not many PCs in the wild yet that have the compatibility or the need for a 7000MB/s NVMe drive. So you should really mostly be competing with other PS5 owners, of which there are few.
Got a me a Firecuda 530 1TB for the PS5 though, it's just been waiting for this update :D
Gonna be rocking a semi all week in preparation for this.
China hasn't been a communist nation since the 70s, when Deng Xiaoping took over. People would do well to understand history a bit better instead of regurgitating nonsense.
Always found the Disney crap to be entirely peripheral to the main crux of the story anyway. At worst, it's immersion breaking and cringey. I mean it's always going to be cringey with or without Disney, but I'd find it more interesting at least.
Yeah, SkillUp and ACG are good compasses for my own tastes, so I'm definitely giving it a whirl based on their glowing recommendations.
Agree with the sentiment, but AA titles were wiped out for quite a long time during the 360/PS3 era because the cost of development sky-rocketed. So many studios closed because one failure or mediocre product would sink them. It wasn't until the end of that cycle and mostly the beginning of the PS4/XBO era that things stabilised enough for AA to return, thanks to simpler development tools and more straightforward, X86 based hardware.
Many western devs have removed Denuvo after a year or two, but Japanese devs rarely revisit released games unless there's money to be made. To be fair, they're generally of a higher standard as regards stability and bugs vs western studios, but in cases like this it's disappointing.
Not just gameplay-wise, but narratively too. And I don't think the influence has been positive.
Really looking forward to this one. Here's hoping they don't simply end up being folded into Bethesda Games Studio to help out of Elder Scrolls 6 :/
Look at the video for Metro Exodus Enhanced, that is what the future of this technology looks like. And it's very bright. Revel in the pun.
Serious case of Peter Molyneux Syndrome.
When they have practically infinite wealth, gained by being ruthless in their endeavours, their gaze inevitably turns to power and domination. Because that's probably why they sought wealth in the first place.
I see the conspiracy theorists are out in force today. Good call by the studio leads, that's not a fun decision to make, but they did what's best for their employees and the finished product.
I'm just a little burned out on rogue-likes/lites (thanks, indie game devs). I'll still probably pick it up.
She has a writing degree and had to submit a resume along with a portfolio like everyone else. Are you always this interested in who's being hired for a gaming company or is it only when the pretty girl gets the job and your inadequatitis starts flaring up?
They rebranded to Meta to conveniently skirt around the negative press surrounding the name Facebook. To say that they or anyone else is on the verge of introducing the metaverse is jumping the gun in a laughable way.
