I agree with Maria...you spend wayyyyy too much time caring about what others think.
Delbert - With that logic everyone is an idiot fanboy as soon as they critisize a multiplat...oh no! That's not the case? Bulletstorm doesn't look all that great...hmmm, Delbert you 'anti'-fanboy googles are seemingly malfunctioning.
You're not handing anything to anyone, you're still making bitter reprisals to aggrevate the single console owner on the other side of the fence...sorry to say it but thats all you ever do.
Bring on Kevin Butler! I swear if Sony counters this with a rap from Kevin Butler that would be the one of the coolest things on the internet, it would be epic!
On topic; I think it's going to be hard to tie this man down with any convictions and I think the trial will go on for a loooong time before it's 'resolved'.
Fanboy flood!
1. Either say why you agree, state it clearly and avoid antagonising 2. Disagree? State why, move on 3. Don't have an opinion, move on.
On topic; What the video was talking about, not the flaimbait title (how many actually watched the video?)...as for their pressure in developing Uncharted 3, is quite high and it's not hard to see why with people like you all raining down foregone conclusions left and right!
No, I don't have the time to read every single review that pops out, I read one or two from sites and reviewers that share many of my taste's in games. What was soo horrid about this review then?
Killzone 3 nonsense?
'At least spell the name right; 'Resssistance'? Resistance.'* (fixed) ;)
Grammar pwned your puny spelling bee ass! XP
@Cez - I think you are one within a minority holding that opinion, that being the fanboy minority.
Wha!? I thought this was extremely possitive, I don't get it? O.o
I think that joke flew right over your head XP
He means the new SSX looks very CODish...silly!
Follow these steps
1. Did you like KZ2? Yes/No (If Yes go to 4, if No go to 2)
2. look at video's and reviews, does it tickle a fancy? Yes/No (if Yes got to 3 if No go to 5)
3. Play Beta, interested? Yes/No? (If Yes go to 4, if No go to 5)
4. Buy it or rent it!
5. Don't buy it!
Simple!
Number games still being played, are they fun? They must be as you guys are still playing em' :)
I hope both these consoles exceed expectations, I hope both of them make money and continue to push out good games and while their competition is only healthy for the production of good games I fear it's not quite as healthy for the kids here on N4G tho...sooo much anger! XD
A score completely misses the point in my opinion, the content of the review should be more of a deciding factor than an arbitrary number at the end, which could mean any number of things. I'd much rather have people focus on the content of the review rather than a number which out of context has no meaning really.
I mean people's opinion about what matters in games are soo subjective that you really have to establish if the views and opinions of the reviews really ma...
Twice, you did it twice XP
Yeah, I gathered as much from the review regarding how the controls feel, but what was missing (albeit a small thing) was how the controls and other aspects stood up to the second itteration.
Otherwise fanatstic stuff, I like your review...formal and well structured but it still managed to retain a personal feel unlike many reviews which feel stiff and too constricted to a formula of presenting.
I'd wish he'd play at least the second itteration before jumping right into this one as he makes some very unsubtle comments regarding the 'new bolt gun', 'six-axis use'(i.e. the turning of valves etc) and really missed out on the points of comparison with the feel of the game compared to the first (most notably the control changes)...perhaps something that many fans of the series are most keen to know about.
Aside from that it was good. However, the c...
"This is 3DS" - That advert was driving me mad!
Rage looks a bit crisper, a bit cleaner and looks to have better textures, draw distance etc...however, out of the two the one that looks most 'real' is infact Killzone 3...and that has to do with what they decided to do with their polygons not just that they have a lot of them.
Looks great, hopefully it'll live up to the expectations I have.
Agreed. Games, games, games! Is all I care about...I don't care if they produce the most impressive movement tracking ever known to this planet. I just want the games.
Otherwise it's good I guess, but I am starting to worry that there aren't really going to be anything worth playing for a long time to come with Kinect.
