Almost every 360 game comes out on pc so why not just play it on pc?

Not ground breaking, yet reaffirming Sony's status as a major player in the console industry, I do believe there will be an announcement or two that we'll be very happy to hear.

If you take what chanto23 said into concideration it will indeed be a considerable blow towards MS.
Do you want a decent hard drive dish out 100$ extra, want to play online for at least 3 years 150$ extra, you want to watch the best quality movies on your BR player you’ll have to dish out at least 200$ for that too.
This is actually a good thing since they need to counter the garbage pouring out of MS which is dragging Sony's name in the mud. I beleive that since GDC they have grown back those oversized balls we saw in the ps2 days and now they are ready to leap out of the bag and suprise us all.
I beleive it will in the end be Sony's regained arrogance that'll put them on top.
They could start by attempting to vindicate themselves from the whole RROD scandal, then start by buying game licenses instead of DLC for multiplatform games for crazy amounts.
MS have had problems like this before regarding issues similar to this have gotten really bad PR because of it, and i dont think they should be bad-mouthing so much since they hold the record for the biggest law suit in history.
The software on the console is still sublime though.
The reason why we hate seeing articles like this is because it's negative PR without sound reasoning, I dont mind when a journalists says that "X" company is treating a devp badly, or that "X" console has way to high failure rates since this kind of information is important ofr gamers and is factual, yet such highly specualtive articles as this one just take the mickey.

This will obviously affect low level production games since they dont have money to start out with, however Sony cannot support everyone from the start of the project since they have no assurance of the quality of the game produced. It's simple what the PUB fund is stating, you take innitiative and we'll follow, clearly they cannot and thus are stuck.
Confidence/arrogance, pretty much the same in my book, besides the former Director of the Playstation division during the PS2 era, he was an arrogant prick, yet he had good reason to be and I think Sony is beggining to see those reasons again.
