For two reasons 1. Agent has just been announced and from the talk this'll be a heavy hitter which means a ton of time in development, just look at GTA IV.
2. Famitsu Ueda is a freaking perfectionsit when it comes to games he will definetly take his time to make sure his games are exactly the way he wants them before release.

I fail to see your point, most of these games are worth owning because you are going to come back to them, GoW 1 & 2 I have played 3-4 times each and I am even thinking of picking up the GoW collection for PS3 based on the fact that I will play them again and again and again, even without that I own many games I know I won't play more than twice, why?
