@ruhroh did you not read what I said? I said 13 was a slow start that narratively paid off by the end. I didn’t say it was perfect but from what I played it was good and when the world opened up it had plenty of extra things to do side quest wise that I enjoyed it.

Nah, 13 was definitely a slow start but it really paid off narratively in the end. I enjoyed 13 and 13-2 really fixed a lot of the gripes 13 had. But lightning returns is the one game of the 3 I really struggle with.

Devils advocate here, how many games have you bought of DLC that is not only non transferable but also useless if you lose the account/system. At least if you by NFTs typically they are assets that you can keep and even resell in other platforms.

Ellie doesn’t need a new redemption arc. The ending of part 2 was as much redemption as you can get. Especially after how many people Ellie killed in the name of revenge. The depths she went to for revenge was pretty awful.
And to leave her best case scenario for revenge to not even take it was its own poetry. Ellie’s story is done, and greatly so

I wouldn’t go off the PC benchmark it told me loading was measured at 4 seconds at times and framerates. We’re unstable but I played the whole game locked 60fps and loading was in the milliseconds.
It’s a bit insane they anticipate everything to sell as high as FF. I remember when they said Tomb Raider reboot was lackluster and turned out it had sold like 3 million units on PS3 and 360.
