The Japanese seem to enjoy playing the same games over and over again.
When that game is released, I'm sure my friends and family are going to mistakenly report me as a missing person.
I can not wait.
By not selling a stand-alone version of MGO then it would further promote sales of MGS4. So this doesn't bother me at all since I planned to own MGS4 on day one anyways.
But wouldn't supporting this service conflict with their PlayTV device?
he gave up (or lost) the rights, but I guess, just like anybody he is entitled to his opinion.
" We haven't really announced an exact ship date for the DualShock 3..."
This article is dated for April 1, but we all know SCEA announced a release date for DS3 long before then. This Interview is from GDC. Basically, nothing to see here folks. No new news.
The people searching for more things about to PS3 to fuel complaints.
I think that Sony realizes how many people are paying attention to PSN and how Xbox Live is the reason that so many people buy Xbox 360's. They are having Steinberg step forward and pumping up the image of PSN so that the media and consumers know that PSN is still on track to bring real competition to Xbox Live.
What would this mean for the Wireless Internet movement?
according to the article, I think they intend to have thing arranged so that no data is really stored locally (in your home) anymore. These sort of speeds are faster than and storage device's write speed.
If this thing became mainstream, it would force the end of physical media. At the same time, it would make it necessary for new laws to be legislated, and hacking/internet crimes could be executed in fractions of a second.

If the delay of the implementation of damage was truly because of the issue with the car's manufactures, and if they were only planning to add "Forza-like" damage details, then I'm sure the damage would have been added already.
Polyphony is going for the best of the best in racing sims and with I believe they desire to include the most realistic of crashes into the series. I suppose we will know the truth the closer we get to November.

It's a good thing that the system is so reliable or this could have been a huge problem. Although, I guess if the system did have a higher failure rate then they would still be producing more of the hardware for the BC functionality.
But I really don't think GeOW 2 will sell loads more copies than the first one sold unless they really include some beefy features that completely make GeOW 1 features seem like a free internet flash game. I mean gameplay features by the way.
I just have a feeling that most of the people who will buy it are ones who already own/played the first one with maybe a million or so added.
I can't really see a need to shut down all of PSN to just upgrade the store or even Home. However, (and hopefully) I could see it happening for In-game XMB. I say that because with in-game XMB they would have to completely rework the method in which the PS3 OS communicates with PSN.
That is, if they include features like in-game chatting and messaging (a PIP-style in-game video chatting would be sweet) then protocols for these features would have to be included on the PSN server ...
