Yes, thanks to microsoft, we have to pay for something that should be free. I mean, xbox live is free for pc users, why not for consoles? Microsoft has a habit of setting the worst trends in gaming. Now they are pushing GAAS and microtransactions, which is destroying this generation. Sooo...yay microsoft?
I have 71 people on my xbox friends list and only 4 people have played sea of thieves & 7 have played PUBG, so no, not most xbox fans according to my friend list.
Oh, so they are adding new textures as well as current gen lighting and shadow effects to these emulated xbox games?
The numbering might be opposite, with GT Sport at #1. I just copied from the site in the order they showed them. They didn't number them.

I agree, I would like to play the resistance games, since ps4 is my first playstation console, and I missed out on all those games last gen.

I loved playing this back in the day! I wish they would release the current version in the US.
Not to mention, microsoft killed off the original xbox after only 4 years! I bet they were going to do that with the 1x as well, but decided to release it in the same xbox one family so they don't completely alienate their fanbase.
I wouldn't mind playing through the gex games, I missed those the first time around. I missed so many of those late 90's/early 2000's platformers. I want to check out the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger remasters on steam!
It seems like a lot of companies are talking about ray tracing as the next big thing. Perhaps that will be the thing we need to see that generational leap! I think that will probably be the next big leap as they move away from the current method of rendering polygons that we have had for the past 25 or so years. But more realistically, we will probably just see higher res shadow maps, higher framerates/resolutions, and more stuff like deferred lighting & shadows.
It cracks me up that criticizing Rare and Micro$oft is marked as inappropriate...it must be tough work for the xbox fanboy mod to go through all these comments. At least it is keeping them busy!

Why would it be beneficial to remove options? A drive probably adds like $20-30 to the overall cost of the system. Can't you just like...you know...not use it?
