That is definitely on my to-play list, as I didn't have a ps3 last gen. I keep having images in my head of this lovely pixel art scene, then it pans to reveal that it actually a 3d scene, done in pixel art. I wish I had the talent to make it a real thing!
This sucks. Even with ps4/xbox one, I question starting a new game because I know I will have to install it and wait for all the stupid updates just to play the game. It kills the spur of the moment aspect of wanting to play a new game when you have a spare 30 mins or so. And I have to worry, do I have enough space to install this thing or will I have to uninstall some other game just to play it? It's like damn..I just want to put the game in and start playing!
Why do they keep hyping Tempest like people actually care about that game? It would be a budget indie title today, and it didn't help the jaguar get anywhere. If that is truly the best game out of all their IPs, this thing is dead in the water. Is anyone really excited for pong, missle command, centipede, & Q*bert?? All the good "Atari" games are owned by Warner Bros now anyway. (Gauntlet, Hard Drivin, Marble Madness, Toobin, Road Blasters, STUN Runner, etc)

To be fair, I have Black ops 3, infinite warfare, and wwii and I haven't played the campaign on any of them yet. But I agree that it is something that is needed at full price. If it is just multiplayer, what is the point of calling it black ops 4? There wouldn't be any story continuing! If it comes out at $30 (which I doubt), then I don't think that would necessarily be a bad thing.
It is one of the only tools we have to fight the crap that companies like EA have been putting into their games. It lights a candle under the developers asses not to screw it up or they will be sent to the unemployment line. I don't know where this mentality came from that we have to coddle the developers and support them even when they put out shit games. That just encourages them and other companies to release more shitty, incomplete games with microtransactions. They need to be held ac...
He was their what?
If you need to purchase a pc, then this isn't for you.
I remember that! It made me realize we needed a new console generation. haha

That was cool! I'd like to see a 3D game with pixel art like this!

Would you buy a brand new console just for a new version of tempest though?

It has been cheap for a while. I got it last Nov. for $16.95 on amazon! Still haven't played it. haha
Looks like you are wrong there, buddy!
I have only heard of like 10 of those. That is probably a good thing!
