There was an article I read recently which gave a valid point. Back in the day when we had NES's, Master Systems, Megadrives, Super Nintendo's, Sega Saturn, Dreamcasts, Gamecubes etc...we didn't give a crap about having a console playing older titles out of the box! Like the writer pointed out, if you have a ton of games you enjoy, why not just keep that console? I loved the Vanquish demo!! First time in a long while I played a game with a big smile on my face! Having a button dedicated to having a cigarette break behind cover is bloody cool lol. Day 1!
Besides, gears is no way near this fast and, if memory serves me correctly, why is it even being compared to Gears when I remember playing Killswitch which had a great cover mechanic ages ago on the PS2!
..look what happend to the psp. Developers stated that they stopped making games for it due to ot's rampant piracy. You want trophies on the PSP? ...let this be true! I just played the VC2 demo last night and now I've got to go buy it! VC 1 was an amazing game with fantastic characters and story. I finished the game, didn't let ANY of my squad die and bought and finished all of the add-on packs! Day 1? bah! Hour 1 mate! lol
I actually liked Sazh (I'll let the chocobo in the afro slide...but only just :-)) He did seem the most 'human' and most likeable character out of the bunch.
I'd also like to throw in Raven from Tekken, but I suppose he doesn't talk that much :-)

This has nothing to do with loyalty. I am probably one of the few people who used the other OS option to run Ubuntu, and I'm still pissed it was taken away because of that bloody hacker. I lost a feature I liked because of some asshole in another country. What's next? Now I'm probably gonna have to update my PS3 on a weekly basis with firmware which will have nothing more than security patches, wasting my time.
..and it's going to be all because of those bloody hackers and pirates!! I can see the PS3 having frequent firmware updates like the PSP.

He says he wants companies to make the single player games cheaper. Of course, this will never happen lol but I wish they did split the single player and multiplayer side up if the game has both. To put things in perspective, I own 60+ PS3 games and 43 PSN games. Of those, there are only 8 of those I have ever played online!
