It was put on "indefinite hold", it was never canned.
This is significant because Blizz have canned productions in the past, if they wanted to can it, they would have...
God I'm glad I'm not in China. However, it has potential for full awesomeness...
I think it's really cool when sequels outdo their originals..
Who ever saw StreetFighter btw? Everything about SF is about SF:2 in one form or another!
This is like really old news, they even have a date for it!

This is an article series I really like to read. even though I'm mostly into either SC1 or WC3 mods (yay DoTA!), I still really like mods for any games. It's so nice to see fans make this type of change in a game.
Really? I think you're the first person to say. I don't know, it kind of lacked something... =/
What? That doesn't even make sense!
Kaplan is on the StarCraft MMO now, that's true...
Aw, the Zerg one is just to DIE for, it's so funny, well in my sick mind anyway =D
Hehe, indeed.
I think the Protoss one was kind of lame, to be honest =P
Zerg rules, but they always do, so not strange...
Yeah, well, from a PR perspective, anything fits that category.
I am a bit afraid that you are right though, it could very well be a new IP completely...
Man, lots of people seems to think just as me - SC MMO, NOOOW! =D
Well, yes, if you can call Kaplan the big guns. But he is pretty senior in Blizzard, so I suppose he has been promoted and probably in charge of this project. Very interesting to see what comes out of it. He must be one of the people with most MMO experience in the business, so it's just a matter of WHAT greatness will be made, not whether or not it will be...
I don;t think there is any danger of anything happening with WoW. I mean Kaplan is nice and all, but not the Alpha Omega of WoW. They will tread along fine.
I am MUCH more curious about the unannounced project!
StarCraft MMO, pleeeeease, for the love of me!
Lol, another one in the line of bad ports then =/
Now, why would you say that? (sarcasm)
Sounds awesome, but will it be one of those games you put away after a few weeks and never see it again? You know what I mean.
I find the concept of sport videogames quite funny =)
well, besides the Wii ones, ofc, where you actually move, a bit.. =P
I think I saw registrations in the US Patent and Registrations registers a year or so back for SC: Ghost products with Blizzard. Renewals only, but still...
