He is David in the Last of Us which caught me by surprise.
I have never understood this you're doing the same thing argument when this is what happens in every game. yeah it starts off new but again and again you repeat the same things in the game.
You want grind play older games when you couldn't save and had to repeat the same level over and over b/c of it.
Yeah I would agree the story is bad. It reminds of most mmo that I have played. The reef was shown in 2013 but it was never stated to be something at launch beside with any game before release content is subject to change. If you look at any game you're guarantee to find things not present that you thought would be base on the reveal on the game. Hell the launch of destiny is a much different game then what we have now.
Destiny isn't a one off game where it one main g...
How do you know what has been stripped out?
I'll be right there with you.
I for one will continue to play destiny until I don't like it anymore and even then I won't jump on every forum complaining about a game I don't play. If you enjoy game play it and if not move on but stop getting mad that everyone doesn't think the same way as you.
^This. I really don't see how this is an issue.
Trying to find a way out of the Gorgon maze was so much fun at the beginning. Vault of Glass is something every destiny player should at least one time.
How is it a slap to the face when that gear you got was for the game you played. Year one stuff was made for year one content and year two has it own specific content made around it. That how games like this work, you get loot that be useless to you only a few hours later.
I have many friends who have gone to different games but when they return it has been very easy for them to catch up. It not an impossible or very time consuming task to do with all the changes bungie made to make it faster.
I have played a lot of destiny but I'm not afraid to leave it for awhile to do something else like play batman or not even game at all.
Your statement is what wrong with gamer's now. You don't have to play something nonstop and then swear off it like your struggling with addiction. Just play something else and come back to it when you can or want to. It is not illegal to do so you know.
In what game you don't go through the same content over and over again.
All these complaints about something you were never going to get in the first place.
I too will probably buy the collectors edition as well. I just find it funny that the people doing the most complaining played very little or not at all.
My point being if it is fantasy it can be anything. It doesn't have to be the same thing that everyone always does.
Look I don't care what race the character is but stop using this its medieval fantasy. The fact that it is fantasy means it can be anything. It does not need to follow what has always been done. Other than that I don't really care.
Here is the problem bungie has only show the ability to have matchmaking either on or off. That means even if you had a full team and someone get s disconnected or leave you can't hold that spot. It will be automatically filled. Plus you get unreliable teammates. Just played the weekly heroic and watch a person quit after dying once. Then mix that with high rewards situations and you'll have a lot of piss off people.
The expansion was never meant to do that as it was already in works and they could not afford to hold it back. They needed to get more content out to the players which is what this dlc does.
I wouldn't look for anything major happening with the way they present the story until comet(or whatever it will be called). I have been enjoying the dlc so far and have been playing the game since release with a small break to play some other games.
Also I would add...
Well skyrim wasn't about the combat it was more about the adventure. I will say I almost didn't finish witcher 2 b/c of it combat system which this one does look a bit better than. I am more of a fan of witcher 1 combat style.
This is what I have been saying for awhile. Go help make the game you like better instead of trying to tear down the one you don't.
