Really? You would rage quit because of that which is very minor in the grand scope of things.
Would they really? I really think these games came out the way they are because of the platform that they are on. I glad of this and wish there were more exclusives on all the platforms because this seem to drive competition between everyone.
I feel that developers are not optimizing the pc, but rather than improve graphic I would like to see better AI. Games either make them hard to kill or send wave after wave after you. I would like small groups with human like reactions and tactics.
What is wrong with Jay Z songs in twisted metal. Your driving around killing people for crying out loud. How does it not match he rap about killing while your killing.
I have to agree with you in saying that cod is fun. I think people tend to forget that the best part of playing a game is to have fun and if it doesn't match what they think fun is that okay because no one is the same. So far I have had tons of fun on black ops, kz3, crysis 2, and mag. Tried bfbc2 on ps3 but didn't have any fun which doesn't mean the game is bad it just not for me. Mag is my favorite out of all of those too.
After I used the move on kz3 I can't go back to the ds3. It just better at least for shooters imo.
No it was just the hype machine at work. EA has gone around saying that bf3 we be the greatest thing since slice bread. EA really need to stop doing that. The thing about the player count to me seem to be related to squad sizes. It a lot better to have a squad 8 than 4. I hope they put in proxy chat and the ability for squad leaders to communicate with one another. Mag has a go communication feature and I would like to see more of it in team base shooters.
I think it the heard it all before syndrome. I don't believe that it justify, but the hype from EA has really raised a lot of expectation from some players. Like how crysis 2 was hyped for the console and fail to meet expectations. Crysis 2 is not a bad game on the ps3 though.
Imo I think bf3 look great, but I would trade the destructible environments for more players. Destructible environment I personally find it annoying mostly b/c someone drop a building on me in bfbc2. G...
Yet kz3 manages to keep it 30fps lock in multiplayer during the most intense battles. Snows, robots, turrets and the 24 players all moving in a constantly changing warzone. I'm not dissing bf3 which I think look great but you are greatly overlooking what kz3 does. Heck there is even 3D and moves support which imo the best way kz3(move controller > ds3).
Yeah that the best part with getting it preowned you can always return it within 7 days for a full refund. Newer preowned are about five dollars cheaper which may not seem like much but after playing it for a couple of days you think I really don't like this game so you can return it for the full price you paid. Now people may say why not rent it in the first place but think of it as a bonus that you normally wouldn't have when buying it new.
If you ask me it would seem that devs are not optimizing the pc to the best of it capabilities. Just think about here we have two five year old consoles that devs are still finding ways to improve on the performance. Every couple of months there is new pc tech but it hasn't translated into vastly superior games.
If the devs would just focus on general range of specs they could optimize the games making for an even greater experience then what is currently shown.
From my experience with bf:bc2 and black ops I had a more fun on black ops even when losing bad I had more fun. Most of the time on bf:bc2 I wasn't out played but out gunned. This I feel if you don't get started early on bf:bc2 you really have no chance at it.
I do like team base games but I never felt like a team on bc2 and with any shooter there way too many sniper. Also my favorite team base shooter this gen is MAG. I have played nothing that compare to it.
Never though that the ps3 version would look like the pc but it looks pretty good. I say better that bf:bc2. I just wish they would have used the same gun sights b/c the red dot cover up too much of what your looking at.
Crysis 2 which I preordered had a bonus gun attachment. Killzone 3 preorder I got from gamestop gave me 24 hour access to all the classes abilities. Brink preorder bonus never got to use so I don't know what it was. None of these really broke the game and I'm sure whatever EA decide to offer won't either.
I don't get what the big deal is. This happens on almost every game that comes out now. Best Buy, Amazon, and Gamestop get exclusive content that you get from them if you preorder. So far from the game I have gotten the early content really isn't nothing game breaking to those that did't get the bonuses.
I think that they were referring to xbox trying so hard to be first this gen that they built a faulty product.

Graphic are not the best but the gameplay is great imo. When you get on a squad with clan mates or find yourself in a good squad period the experience is unmatched in any other shooter.
MAG also has proxy chat with squads of 8, platoons of 32, and a company of 128. Also there is the squad leader, platoon leader, and the OIC who all have the ability to communicate between squads.
@banner though mag wasn't popular like other titles doesn't mean it wasn't good just not a casual game. With all the players in mag it still was and is well organize between the squads. I wish more devs would look at mag party system and chat structure especially in the more team oriented game types.
