@MunchMiller
"Please tell me you're not stupid enough to believe the disc contains merely a license. Unreal."
No that's not what I'm saying. I know the disc has game data on. A lot of which is downloaded onto the hard drive but still game data.
You can still get your license revoked if you're connected to the internet. That disc is just verification.
No. Xbox has been getting 3rd party games, indies, early access games, etc. BC was never advertised as a fill in for lack of games because contrary to popular belief Xbox has been getting games. Just not as many as PS.
I don't think the point of BC is to be the most used feature of the X1. Just there as a convenience.
I don't even like soccer like that. But if the game actually looked that good then I'd play just for the graphics.
December. No time to preorder or get the money to preorder for the Christmas. I think it's going to launch a little before Shadow of War comes out. So October. Possibly bundled.
These games don't sell well on either console. Just sells a little better on PS. So what are you going on about? Btw I'll be picking it up on Xbox.
Input lag in most cases is unnoticeable to the naked eye.
lmao
"did you not read my comment? i said what if E3 comes and it's all about power and no substance?"
The problem is you're taking your "what if" statement and giving it substance. Maybe you haven't been on N4G lately. But Phil had already got the power part of the conference out of the way with digital foundry. All so he could focus on games. But you completely ignored that and said "what if."
It doesn't really ...
SC:Conviction is one of my favorite games last gen.
"For almost a year we have heard about Scorpio so forgive me if all this talk hasn't hyped me because I gave yet to see a exclusive title that will fully take advantage of this "
If you're not even willing to wait till E3 to see what's announced then you were most likely never looking forward to it.
Lol. Yea a $500 graphics card will wipe the floor with the Scorpio. But an entire PC costing that much is a joke. Have fun playing games like Ori or Inside at medium settings.
"Like who in their right mind would choose a more powerful system with no exclusives?"
I would love to see you try to play Xbox's premier games on a $500 PC. lol
I played alone with no problem. I think it depends where you go. If you're in the higher levels of the Dark Zone where enemies drop more vauluable gear, you'll have people gunning for you.
I would def buy a mini OG Xbox. A mini Sega Dreamcast would be nice as well.
Well, the Xbox was never marketed towards kids. Not that kids shouldn't/can't buy it. But that you can rely on adults to be able to afford an internet connections. If an adult can't afford a video games than maybe they need to reevaluate their spending. Plenty of games/consoles for those on a tight budget.
To further elaborate on what @Shadyceaser said: Tekken 7 on PC is already $41 and diving in price as we speak. Mind you, at the time I'm typing this Tekken 7 isn't even out yet. While I am jealous of PC prices of games, without console there would be no gaming industry or it would be much smaller scale. There wouldn't be enough money in it to get the amount of AAA games we get today.
@rainslacker
"MS would have to have one hell of a conference, and pretty much do what no one expects them to do, which is deliver nothing but new exciting AAA IP's that people just aren't expecting. Since we know they aren't going to do that, what is there to debate?"
So I'm guessing you already have the scoop on what MS are going to announce. That's great. You mind filling me in through a private message? Don't want to s...
It's working now but it will only take them so far. When Nintendo has no more first party content to put out they'll be left at the mercy of devs that are willing to develop specifically for the Switch.
"What dose a Ferris wheel have to do with Power?"
You know how much electricity and hydraulic power is needed to run a Ferris wheel? Hint: It's not going to run off of a power outlet from your house. lol
