No the Xbox is not just as familiar as PS. It's near non-existent in a lot of countries. It's a much lesser known brand. The 360 came out a year before the PS3 and a large majority of it's sales were still in US/UK.

It doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Xbox could have more power, more games, and still get outsold by PS. There's no one dimension that determines a product's success. The market usually gravitates to what is familiar. Like the iPhone. It isn't the most powerful phone or has the most features. Yet it outsells every phone on the market.

I frequent this site a lot. A LOT. I'm in all the articles talking about the Xbox One X. Have yet to see anyone say all games would be 4k 60fps. Neither MS or it's fans. That link you provided was a speculation that "most" games would be 4K, NOT 4k 60fps. And so far most games have been turning out 4k. Nobody said all of them would. You're just creating these imaginary commentators in order to have an argument.

It will only fail to those who have already set unrealistic expectations for it. Like catching up to the PS4 in sales or whatnot. It was never meant to be a breakout success. Though MS would be happy if it was.

You mean before there was fully DX12 compatible hardware in PCs? As well as engines not taking advantage of it yet? There's already been big increases in performance for game like Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Well you can usually get more play time out of a MP game than you can a SP one.

I make well above minimum wage and don't want a PC.

I wouldn't bet on Nintendo launching a 4k system. They may launch a system that can run everything at 1080 60fps in 5 years. They've always been behind the visuals curve. They're more focused on the art of games than realism.

Omg. Both Sony and MS turn down devs all the time. And said devs either have to go to the opposite company or release on PC.

Actually Sony said their won't be anymore mid gen upgrades after the Pro.

Both the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One X will be able to play next gen games. So I guess the Pro is next gen as well.

They couldn't at least put it on Youtube at 1080p?

But on a $500 PC you'll barely be able to play anything at console quality. Ori and Inside maybe. Maybe the odd MMO here and there.

Better than a PC of the same price.
