I don't think its bad. Just like COD. People feel like these games are fun. Repetitive or not. The majority of gamers play games simply for the fun. Everything doesn't need to innovate in order to be fun to a majority of gamers. If you are bored by a certain franchise then by all means, do not purchase the upcoming iterations. But you don't have a say in whether people should play it or not.
I keep hearing people talking about they don't care about the graphics. Then I'm like wait, that's not what we're discussing. We're discussing resolution. When did resolution become graphics.
Anyway, graphics are the same on both. The only disparity is the resolution. And I don't care much about the res. Still getting this on X1. Hell, I played GTAV on it with 3 less bushes and I was just fine.

The X1 being too forward thinking is the same thing as it not being the safe console. Lots of problems come from forward thinking devices. Gamers aren't quick to move from one thing to another because all other types of media have moved past physical content. Blu Rays are the only exception, and still then more people are digitally downloading. We also took two generations to move from standard definition tvs. The PS3 was a forward thinking machine by the way. So you just proved my point....
It does a lot more than the PS4. Although the PS4 has the most common features that gamers are more accustomed to.
Nothing against the PS4. Its an amazing console. But this is what I think. PS4 was sort of the safe console this generation. It didn't stray too far away from what people are used to. They just gave it more power and a few controller modifications. Nothing too out the way like what the X1 did. The X1 went for something more than just a more powerful gaming system than its predecessor. They went for the multimedia, multitasking, DRM, the cloud, etc. Gamers aren't quick to move from one...
How about you stop acting like exclusives are the only things on consoles.
I've been saying all along that the X1 has a lot more in store than what has shown up on the surface. But of course I get flagged and down voted to all hell. Good job MS. Can't wait for GDC and E3.

Nintendo hasn't made a good console since the Gamecube. The Gamecube was ahead of its time and still one of my favorite consoles of all time.

I agree that the grunts are not intelligent. But the spectres and the Titans are. Spectres will really hunt you down. Adding to the fact that they run really fast and jump really far. Auto pilot Titans actually know when to attack, evade, and retreat. Sure Titanfall could be done without the cloud. But really scaled back in activity and the amount of AI. And I don't think local hardware could make more intelligent AI, as AI is really taxing for hardware. ...
I wonder how that's going to work though? Will the next Titanfall not have cloud compute for AI this time? Since the PS4 isn't built for cloud compute, but cloud streaming.
I hate how people don't want DX12 to actually work. Something that's going to push gaming forward. If gaming is your hobby, then you should want it to get better regardless of any airheaded fanboyism. That's like a skydiving enthusiast downplaying the safety of a parachute. How stupid would it be for a skydiver to say, "Oh this parachute won't open anyway."

I don't mind 900p as long as I'm getting the same graphics. The reason that the X1 was set at 900p is so that it wouldn't sacrifice any graphical fidelity compared to the PS4. Graphical settings like lighting, textures, AA, etc. Are the same across both consoles. The only difference is the resolution.
If a game hits 1080p on both consoles, that means that X1 could reach 1080p without any sacrifices. Its a shame to see all of the people on N4G and other sites thinkin...
I see a lot of people getting offended because people don't care about this game. So what? Everybody doesn't have to like Dungeon Defenders. Some just don't care enough for it to play it. I'm pretty sure there are many games that you like that some people aren't going crazy for. No big deal. I personally don't have a lot of indies catch my eye. In total I have about 3 indie games. They're simply not what I buy my console for.
