Sony will continue to outsell Microsoft just because they are Sony, I prefer it that way though as it means Microsoft will push harder and harder and they have the resources to do it.
While sonys been falling all over itself with dodgy exclusives, firmware and network stability Microsoft have really upped their game over the year with some great exclusives, firmware updates and the almost rock solid server performance. Next year Sony need to up their game, they had a very easy ride so far and that isn't always a good thing.
Too human, humans are flawed just like this game.

Just wish it had a more interesting setting, doesn't get me excited like black flag did, I might even pass on this one at least for a while tbh.
I think we will be waiting until next year before the ps4 has a good shot of shining, bloodborn seems too niche and order while looking great those gameplay teasers just don't scream greatness more meh.
At least x1 owners have a very good alternative in the MCC, ps4 owners are stuck with this fail attempt at a game that's now going to attempt to milk them for every penny.
I been playing on x1 the last few days and only issue I had is it can take a while to get into a game sometimes. Beyond that I have been really surprised by how smooth and bug free this release has been considering it's an Alpha. It's a great game, hopefully it launches with lots of content because that's the only area where this game could fall flat.
Store is a lot better, still needs a bit of work though.
X1 seems to be basically built around tiled resources being introduced, that 32mb suddenly becomes very powerful in that environment maybe even more so than the gddr5 and at a much better price point.
They will have to do something with the ps plus edition unless they want to take a bit of an image hit, it's free but they made so much out of it. For paid version users they should release some free content as compensation, it's a no brainer.
Problem is that even with the additional content of the ps4 version it's still a big price to ask for the amount of content.
Sony is having a terrible time of it recently.
Been playing the alpha on x1 since yesterday and it's a shame ps4 owners are gonna miss out on it.
Don't expect to see the alpha now on ps4, you will probably have to wait until the beta.
while it might sound like a lot 400 million isn't enougth for a global network, they will be having to invest heavily into their asian servers before the china launch also.
When I first heard of 4k I thought there's no way it could look significantly better than 1080p but I was wrong, the difference is very noticeable. Will take a while though for people to change their tvs and pick up these new 4k ones.
They need to cut their mobile business as well now, it's a lost cause at this point and is really hurting them. They have already cut so much and still running at a loss even with the amazing level of ps4's being sold, not good.
This is why I really like how Microsoft have the preview program, the more techy users can test the update and find the problems before it's then released to those who are not so tech savvy.
Hopefully this game is epic, if I didn't already have a wii u I would buy one just for this game.
