All JRPG's have sold poorly in the next gen systems. Besides Final Fantasy 13, i can't think of one JRPG that had good or great sales in the X360 or PS3.

Releases were badly planed from Sony, leaving 3 months (April, May, June) with nothing exclusive to release... or ... do you expect modnation racers to be a great game, or big release for Sony? Yep... have to agree. The Witcher was one of the best RPG's in the last few years. To bad no release date for The Witcher 2 was not announced. From the trailer looks like there are big bosses in the game, i like it :)

As there are some 3rd party exclusives that ps3 players would like to see in their system from the x360, I'm sure there are 3rd party exclusives from the ps3 that the x360 players would like to see in their system too. It goes both ways.

X360 Slim would be a good move by Microsoft. If the X360 Slim after release becomes a reliable console, it would improve the image that the consumers have about the X360. Because of the bad publicity the RROD has produced, lot of people don't buy the X360, not even the recent (more reliable) jasper model. If Microsoft plays their cards wright, it can be a relaunch of the X360 in the entire world (if it's RROD free and reliable). With the addiction of Natal, that's just a bonus .
The Japanese really don't like the XBOX360... very poor sales over there. Comparing sales for the PS3 and XBOX360, Sony has to thank Japan for making the difference in world console sales. It would be interesting to make a study, how would sales be if the XBOX360 was a Japanese console and not an American one.

Like it or not, it was a smart move by Square to release the game in both consoles. They wanted to make more money and they did. They left the console wars to stupid fanboys, that have nothing better to do then to whine and cry. I would not be surprised if FF13 Versus received the same treatment.
Congrats Square, in spite of FF13 not being a great game and having many flaws. This being UK sales chart, if you take out Japanese sales, i believe the rest of the world will have more ...
In all honesty Sony is doing a good job in acquiring these software companies, increasing their 1st party studios, not being dependent on 3rd party. Microsoft should do the same thing. What's been happening the last few years is the exact opposite. Microsoft is disbanding/selling their studios (Ensemble, Bungie, etc), which leds me to believe that maybe Microsoft is not thinking of releasing a new Xbox in the future, and getting out of the console business at the end of the X360 cycle. Let's at least wait for Alan Wake to come out... then make the comparisons.
