Why new engine? Alan Wake has a pretty good game engine. Many sequels in this console generation are using the same game engines as their predecessors... just with minor improvements. Uncharted franchise, Gears of War franchise, Killzone 2 and 3, Mass Effect franchise, Batman franchise, Dead Space franchise, etc.
Alan Wake is a great game. I would not mind having Alan Wake 2. It will probably take less time to make since the game engine is already made.
PS... why is that X360 news are always full of trolls. I see some trolls in PS3 news, but no way near the amount that exist in X360 news.
Portal 2 was not really a surprise. Portal 1 appeared on the PS3, so it's natural the 2nd would appear. The only surprise about Portal 2 is that... it's probably Valve making the game instead of EA (i'm not sure about this).
Only possible winner ... EA with their show.
MS and Sony had disappointing shows. Nintendo did not see and don't really care. Ubisoft show was OK (was expecting to see beyond good and evil 2).
Surprises so far... Crytek's game for the X360.
... but since this is N4G... the majority will say Sony won.
Infamous was great... greatly expecting this one.
Unbelievable. I did not think Sony could make a E3 presentation as bad as Microsoft… and they did. No big surprises… to much time with PS Move. Only thing interesting for me out the presentation was Killzone 3, Motorstorm 3 and Infamous 2. LBP2 was ok and GT5 is not really my type of game. No big surprises. At least Microsoft had a interesting surprise… the Crytek exclusive… Sony nothing. What the hell are all the Sony 1st party studios doing?

Only 0,00000001% of the gaming population have 3D tv's. It's a interesting idea, but very few have 3D tv's

If Sony spends to much time with the Move in their show, then EA will win this year's EA for best show. Nintendo i don't really care.

For me the best games this year that i have played are in this order:
1st: Red Dead Redemption and Darksiders.
2nd: God of War 3 and Mass Effect 2.
3rd: Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
4th: Alan Wake, BioShock 2, Blur and Split Second
5th: Heavy Rain
6th: Prince of Persia
Games i have not played: Super Mario Galaxy 2, No More Heroes 2, ModNation Racers(tried the demo and did not like it), Bayonetta... among others.
If the retail price of Natal is £145 (that's about 160-170€ or 200-210$)... then Microsoft just shot them selfs in the foot.

NO... not really. Personally I'm not into driving simulators. Games like GT5 or Forza 3 are not my cup of tea. This game will sell well... no doubt about it, but the major factor why it will do very good, is because it's going to be bundled with every PS3 at time of the launch... just like Forza 3 was.

Sony doesn't want PS2 Compatibility on PS3. They make a HD version of a PS2 game and resell it to the consumer... like they did with god of war 1 and 2. They would bee pretty stupid to put PS2 Compatibility now, when they have a perfect way to milk money from the consumers reselling the same game in HD.
Add Fallout Las Vegas, Witcher 2, The Last Guardian, Dragon Age 2, DEUS EX ... and DIABLO 3 ... and you are spot on with your list.
They have already announced 2 episodes Alan Wake DLC. I think it will probably be a new game... but i hope they don't take another 5 years to release it.

It would interesting to see the real sales numbers for those games, since Forza and Gran Turismo were heavily bundled with their respective consoles. They should provide sales numbers directly to the consumer, and not fake numbers that include bundles.
With a bundle a game is offered with the console... not bought.
