Yep... not very good numbers for Alan Wake... and where the hell is ModNation Racers and 3D Dot Game?
Hardware side... Nintendo is dominating everything. PSP is practically dead in the USA and no numbers for PS2.
I thought the gap between the PS3 and 360 would be bigger in Japan for the first half of 2010.
I'm not bashing you, I'm just curious... can the Move do 2 or 4 players, each one with 2 controllers? Can the PS3 camera capture that many controllers on screen?
Sony fanboys are the worst from the worst. Unbelievable the amount of trolls in N4G. Every single news from X360 they are there. Don't you guys have nothing better to do... you have way to much free time in your hands.
As for Kinect (and Move) I'll wait and see to pass judgment.
If Kinect is $150 then it is too expensive. Also Move is to expensive, since you need the controller and a camera... and some games are going to need two controllers.
Both Move and Kinect are two expensive (if Kinect is $150).
Just because Heavy Rain had good sales in the PS3 does not mean Alan Wake would sell millions on the PS3. Look at the sales of the latest PS3 exclusives...
Have ModNation Racers or 3D Dot Game Heroes sold 500k copies? I seriously doubt it.
Get a decent PC... It has the best online of them all.
Starcraft 2, Monkey Island 2: Special Edition, Crackdown 2, Alan Wake DLC and DeathSpank look interesting to me.
Quantum Theory I'm curious to see what comes out of this.
Lot of trolls in this thread.
As for the game... it was a very good game. I hope they make Alan Wake 2.
EA won... presented good games.
Nintendo: Wii don't care... 3DS looks interesting.
Sony: show was more or less... no surprises unless you count Twisted Medal (witch i thought was crap) and to many casual crap.
Microsoft: show was more or less... 1 or 2 surprises (X360 S and Crytec game) and to many casual crap.
Ubisoft: show was more or less ... with to many casual crap.
"3D Dot Game Heroes Leads U.S. PS3 Charts"
It's a PS3 Charts for Amazon. I was referring to total sales charts to compare it to other games sales of other consoles. I guess we better wait for NPD charts to have some idea of sales in the USA.
Good for you. You have good games in that list. Alan Wake is a pretty good game... in spite of not being a great game. I would give a solid 8,5.
Just take a look at the last 2 PS3 exclusives. How much have ModNation Racers or 3D Dot Game Heroes sold? Not much buy my guess. Alan Wake has sold 500k buy the latest numbers announced. ModNation Racers or 3D Dot Game Heroes are no way close to those numbers.
There are consoles exclusives that simply do not sell much.
EDIT:
@Parapraxis... Alan Wake still reached nº1 in some charts when it was released. ModNation Racers or 3D Dot Game Heroes were...
Humm... vchartz... they make up their numbers. Does not mean the X360 did not outsell the PS3, but i take vchartz numbers with a grain of salt.
That's it Sony... instead of releasing a firmware to play PS2 games in the PS3... milk the PS2 games for another sale to PS3 gamers.
I think Halo Reach and COD are enough for X360 fans at the end of 2010 for their FPS fix. Medal of Honor beta is getting quite some negative hype so it's a pretty stupid move by EA ignoring the X360... they are going to need all the help they can get.
GT5 will be a big success, have no doubte, but GT5 and F1 2010 are not my type of car racing game. I'll take the new Need for Speed or Motorstorm 3 instead.
EA is really giving the finger to the X360 owners... making betas and exclusive content in games only available to the PS3. Maybe X360 owners will start giving the middle finger back to EA... not supporting them. I was surprised with EA in E3 with their exclusive content for the PS3.
... but still EA had the best E3 show out of all the shows. They presented a lot of good games.
@SolidSystem
Congrats... you have one the few comments that makes sense in all of these comments.
I would really like to know where vgchartz get their numbers from Europe and Rest of the World (beside USA and Japan) ?
Short answer... they don't. They make their numbers up. It's impossible to know the numbers from Europe and Rest of the World (beside USA and Japan).
