It's due to hype and articles on the Internet, some praising and others bashing Kinect. Good or bad ... people are talking about Kinect. It's free publicity and keep people interested.
As for the advertising, it has not started... yet!!! Preorders will increase even more when advertising comes to play.
Yep, it's time for Ninja Theory to stop whining. Move on Ninja Theory. Hope Enslaved is a good game and have good sales.
Sony's ads have been bashing the competition for some time, and yes, it's arrogant. So I'm not surprised with this article.

Oh boy... X360 and PS3 fanboys are happy fighting for 2nd place. What is this world coming to.
After a clear domination of PS1 and PS2 in the last 2 generations... if someone told me at the beginning of this generation that the PS3 would be hard fighting for 2nd/3rd place, by half way of this generation, i would have not believed it.

Humm... why all the complaints. Microsoft had games for everybody, causals and hardcore gamers. Microsoft can't offer more because they simply lack 1st party studios to make exclusives. In reality I expected less games to be presented then there actually was. Microsoft need more 1st party studios.
Dragon Age is a good game... but Mass Effect 1 + 2 are much better games, without a doubt.
Everybody has been bashing the Wii the last couple of years because of the controls ... now the PS3 is coping it, and everybody automatically praises Move.

Top 3 are good (specially GOW3 and Joy Danger)... rest of them don't care.
No game deserves a 10, but GTA4 is a great game. I would give it a 9.3
I still have to play GTA4 episodes.

The xbox 360 (hardware, software, online, accessories) after the RROD hardware problems... has been doing fine. For a few years now it has been turning a profit to Microsoft (even with the RROD problems)... contrary to other products from the Entertainment and Devices division.
Microsoft is making a fu*ken sh*t load of money. I see billions everywhere. No wounder everybody hates them... LOL
Forza 3 had about 2 years of development. GT5 had about 5 years of development.
So GT5 has the obligation to be better looking then Forza 3, and in general be a better game then Forza 3.
Don't troll... Alan Wake is a great game. Hope Remedy makes Alan Wake 2.
Newsfalsh... my guess is that everybody pays to get a 3rd party studio exclusive game.
I don't agree with the price ... nor i'm interested in Kinect, but i think Kinect will do well in sales, after all the hype and publicity it's getting.

I think Kinect will sell much more then Move. Hardly anybody is talking about Move (beside die hard PS3 fanboys)... i may be wrong.
Still not interested in Move. Same goes for Kinect. They are both to expensive. Unless they offer them :)
