Quite a lot of games. More then i thought... looks like there are some good games over there.
Honestly i don't think Heavy Rain was anything special. Had a good story and nice graphics, but that's it. It had no gameplay. It's just a QTE game. Bought the game game on Ebay, finished it and sold it. It had good sales because it was exclusive, automatically becoming overhyped. If it was a multiplatform game, it wouldn't have sold that much. Congrats to David Cage, Quantic Dreams and Sony. Great marking from their part.
I guess it's another game for Gamescom.

Big sales for X360. I did not expect that much. It would be interesting to know the numbers for StarCraft II.

As for sales... if it was out on the PS3 nobody knows if it would have better sales. There are PS3 exclusives that sell pretty poorly. The last 2 PS3 exclusives are examples, Modnations with 400k and 3D dot game with 210k (if you take VGChartz seriously).
... but no doubt, Alan Wake (my guess is that the 600k was also taken from VGChartz) is a very good game that deserves better sales and a sequel.
As for the article... it's another stupid article in N4G....

Not really. Just have to compare games on Metacritic. X360 has more games rated 90+ then PS3 or Wii. X360 has more games rated 80+ then PS3 or Wii. It comes out as a matter of taste. What games do you like. PS3 fanboys will say they prefer PS3 games. X360 fanboys will say they prefer X360 games. Wii fanboys will say they prefer Wii games.
