Just pointing out a fact of those numbers ...
- I expected the X360 numbers to be less, since everybody claiming PS3 sells a lot more then the X360 in Europe.
- expected more sales from the Wii
- "Software Wii closely followed by PS3" ... is interesting since the PS3 sold double of the Wii and the Wii still sold more software. That's not a good sign for hardcore players. The Wii may define future consoles ...

Have you ever thought that maybe making a PS3 game takes the double of the time then making a X360 game... making the game much cheaper to produce for the X360.

That is a pretty dumb move by Sony. Yes lets make it hard to develop so that software companies only understand the PS3 architecture when the PS3 is at the end of it's life circle. VERY DUMB MOVE.
Hummm ... if it drops 100€ by March or April, that would be a 300€ drop in 2 years at Europe. 50% drop in 2 years is a lot. Well, it's good for the customer.

But... i have to agree. Pc gaming is looking sweet for 2009. Still missing many games in that list.

If they play games (among other things ;)), why can't they review the game. There are so many people working at gaming magazines, that don’t understand anything about games, ending up reviewing games, so why not soft porn girls who play games.
It's a review ... get over it. If the review was a 5/5 nobody would report it. If you like the game, buy it, and stop whining about the review. There were reviews from Romanian and Hungarian magazines (that nobody ever heard about) and everybody accepted it because it was 10´s. Extreme fanboys are the worst kind of gamers that exist. No brains. And we see so many in N4G.
Do you know the numbers of online sales for PC games? NO... we only know retail sales.
If PC gaming is that bad why are software companies still releasing games for the PC? If it was that bad, they would only release games for consoles. Almost every multiplat game arrive on the PC. Why is that?
Just look at the PC line up for 2009. It has great exclusives

Controls look interesting. This might be the first RTS i get for a console.
This a rumor and nothing more then that. We do not know what kind of deal Microsoft made for the trilogy, so we just have to wait and see.
I did not say it was a bad thing ... Sony fanboys say it's a bad thing and Sony has beeing doing it for ages.
Well ... there goes the theory that Sony does not buy exclusives like Microsoft. They buy exclusives like any company and have been buying them for years since the days of the PS1, but some fanboys for some reason fail to accept that. And that's how the business works.

Maybe because they make a game in 6-12 months and make money selling like 300-400k world wide. For those games they probably don't need multi-million sales to make money.
Let's suppose they receive 20$ from each game sale (game costing 60$ for the consumer) ... selling 400k world wide ... that gives 8 million dollars they receive for a sh*tty game.
