The only reason it's hated so much is because it's not a exclusive to one console. If it was a exclusive to one console then it would be praised to the heavens. Simple as that.

Well, tried the demo, and it was great. I'll be getting this game.
The controls for this game are horrible. I was expecting this game, but after trying out the demo, no thanks. Don't care for it any more.

Sony's software sales in the US is not that great. Great numbers for the Wii and good numbers for the X360.

I kind of imagine what would fanboys say if Gears 2 or Killzone 2 were multiplatform.
Not bashing LBP, but it was heavilly bundled with the PS3, so we really do not how much sales the single retail game has. Sony does not receive much money for the game when it's bundled (since it's the same price for the PS3 without games at $399).
Same thing happens with Wii Sports that comes bundled with the Wii. That's why it's claimed the top seller game the last 2 years.
Don't BS me... if this was exclusive to the PS3 you would not be bashing it. Everybody knows PS3 fanboys like to overhype their exclusives to the sky's. Look what happened to GTA4, since it was not exclusive to one console, everybody was bashing the game.
