Good first day sales in Japan, since it did not get a great score from Famitsu (7/8/7/7, 29 points). The Japanese will take anything that's a RPG.... good or bad. I guess Sony did their marketing this time ;)
Magazines go where the money is ... and that's the consoles.
Consoles games always get higher ratings then the PC version, not because they are better, because they receive incentives to do so, like payed publicity by MS, Sony or Nintendo. Go to their sites and look at the amount of publicity they have.
Just look what happened in the VGA ... Crysis Warhead was not even nominated for best graphics... if the game was on a console, it would of won for sure for best ...
Bad port ... bad DRM ... full of bugs ... launched 8 months after the consoles... what did they expect???

How much does Sony receive from the $399, since they have to transport the PS3, the supplier receives a cut and the store that sells the PS3 receives a cut.

Do you really think they will do a PS3 time exclusive after the sales of Bioshock they had on the PS3. It will more likely be a X360 time exclusive.

One question... How many of these games will come out in 2009? I think only 2 of them are confirmed for 2009 ... Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 and mayby GT5 and Heavy Rain... the rest i don't think so.

Left 4 dead is a good game... probably deserves GOTY for the PC... also loved The Witcher Enhanced Edition, Fallout 3, Dead Space among others.
As for best graphics... MGS4 won!!! It does have great graphics, but personally i think Crysis Warhead has much better graphics... and it was not even nominated. I guess VGA goes where the money is, and not who deserves to win.
SEGA made a bad move making the game exclusive, should of been multiplatform to make more money. Not really my type of game, but they were stupid and paid for it?
Maybe SEGA should of put this multiplatform....
Not surprising with 1 million... standalone sales might not be that great, but the game is heavily bundled with the PS3 where i live... they must be counting with bundles.

I agree. I have a X360 and will probably be getting a PS3 when Killzone 2 arrives... with the PS3 price cut :)
As for the sales... he is probably right, the X360 has double the sales of the PS3 last month in the USA ... and the Wii has more sales then X360 and PS3 combined. Price is a important factor.
