They are 3rd party, using Unity (witch is a mutiplatform game engine easy to port on other systems like PC, WiiU, Xbox, mobile, etc) and they go for exclusives on playstation systems. Stupid devs! They shouldn't complain later on if they go broke.
"Thursday Throwdown: Is The Last of Us Worth Another $60?"
For me, NO. I've played the game on the PS3. Good game.
I'll wait for the PS4 version of The Last of Us on PSN+.
Bastion was a good game and Transistor looks like a interesting game, but I'll probably wait for it on PSN+.
I have so many games in my list still to be played. I need a long holiday.
From all the articles I've seen about Watch_Dogs, I find funny is that they don't talk about the X360 or X1 version. They mainly talk about the PS4 version and sometimes about the PC and PS3 version.
As for all these Watch_Dogs articles lately, they seem more like damage control.
Have you got money to spare ?
As Borderlands 2 PS Vita Bundle. Why ?
It would be better if they made a new game for the Vita instead of a port of a older game.
And yet you didn't need a expensive device like Kinect for that... a simple cheap microfone would do all that.
I agree with Molyneux. Kinect feels more and more like a expensive worthless accessory... and the reviews of it's latest game proves Molyneux right, Kinect Sports Rivals. There aren't games that prove that Kinect is essential for the X1.
Smartest thing Microsoft could do is release a cheaper Kinect-less SKU of X1.
Microsoft needs to stop being so stubborn by trying to impinge Kinect with every device. Nobody (or hardly anybody) wants Kinect. It's already costing them a lot of sales of X1's...
Nintendo invests heavily in games for their 3DS... Sony hardly invest in Vita games. Only 2-3 decent exclusives are launched for the Vita during a year.
... and that reflects in 3DS and Vita sales.
Unless PS Now is offered with PSN+, I have very little interest in having PS Now. I'm definitely not paying a subscription to play old games.
"Gamers Still Not Crazy for Digital Games"
Of course not. The fuss over the original Xbox One was a clear indication.
... and you can't resell or lend digital games.
Are Sega having financial problems ? Not surprising. They make stupid decisions. They are still keeping Yakuza exclusive to Sony platforms, instead of bringing the games to other platforms to make more money... among other stupid decisions.
When Sony presented Playstation Now nobody worried about internet connection... now all of sudden everyone is worried about internet connection when Microsoft presents something related to internet.
I'm wondering... does Playstation Now work without internet? /s
What indies and fanboys fail to understand... Xbox is Microsoft's console and they can do what the hell they want with it. If they want to add a parity clause, then they will. If you are a indie developer, you have two choices, accept Microsoft's rules or don't accept Microsoft rules. Simple as that. It's business.
If Microsoft annuls this parity clause, they are screwed. All indies will release their games firstly on the PS4 (because of their larger install b...
Amazon Fire TV?
From what I've seen, don't find it very interesting. Looks like another Ouya with a couple more features. It's not for me.
I hope Sony has better PS4 offerings with PSN+ in the near future. Games offered until now are mehhh, with the exception of Resogun.
As for XBLA Gold, Microsoft better start offering something for the X1, otherwise there is no competition... and no competition is bad for Microsoft and bad for the consumers.
Titanfall isn't perfect and nobody said it was (I think), but it's a very good multiplayer game.
Simply put... NO game is perfect. That's why I frown upon reviewers that give 10 out 10 on games. No game deserves a perfect score.
Like it or not, agree with it or not, the parity clause exists so that games are released (at least) at the same time on the Xbox and other consoles. Xbox division is a business ... and Microsoft knows that releasing a game later on their console then other consoles, sells a lot less copies.
Imagine if all developers decide that they will release their games firstly on the PS4, because of it's larger install base, and later on release it on the X1. Do you think that will ...
"Is Ubisoft Releasing Too Many Assassin's Creed Games?"
Absolutely not. They should released one every month. /s
I cringe every time I hear Microtransactions.
