Even without Kinect, the X1 at 400$ is a bit too expensive compared with the competition. Microsoft should have put the X1 50-70$ cheaper then the PS4. Like it or not, the PS4 is a more powerful console where multiplarform games run better then on the X1.
I'm purchasing a X1 when it reaches 350€... it will probably be that price when releases in my country in September.

Better yet, let's only allow people that really love a game, review it... that way every single game have 10's in their reviews. I respect the game and it probably is a good game... but I just can't find this interesting. Looks like a kids game, as does most Nintendo's games. Maybe my inner child has already passed away.
EDIT. I actually enjoy Disney movies, specially Pixar movies. As for Mario Kart I would probably play it for 20-30 min, but most likely wouldn't waste my money purchasing the game and console to play it. I just find other games more interesting.

It goes both ways. Sony fans can thank Microsoft for what the PS4 is (or is becoming), and Microsoft fans can thank Sony for what the X1 is becoming. Competition is the best thing for consumers.

I'll tell you little secret. Every company, and I mean every company, listen to $$$. Their main objective is to make $$$. Simple as that.
There is not one game on the PS4 with incredible graphics... with good graphics, yes we have seen good looking games on the PS4, but with incredible graphics, no we haven't seen it on the PS4, neither on the X1.
Sony should have learned by now that the only way to save the Vita are exclusives... "big" exclusives games that sell consoles.

As for the $399 price tag, it's a bit high. The PS4 is a more powerful console, so the Kinectless X1 should be $320-349.
Since I already have a PS4, probably get a Kinectless X1 in September when released in my country. Hope it's at least 350€ b...

Since the PC has the greatest library of indies, so yes, have the PC to play indies, play AAA games... and to work.
As for my PS4, only play AAA exclusives with it.

I didn't buy a PS4 to play indies, have the PC for that.
