Well there was, but it was the other way around. It was Fans loyalty to the game. Now you will find out who are the Fanboys and who are the true Fans.
So what did Nintendo get from Microsoft to finish that circle of money you talk about???
I think you are totally off base in that claim. XBox 360 is known for selling games. They said the EXACT same thing about GTA IV, and look how well that did on the 360. You got core gamers that just buy everything and then you have the NEW RPG fans that are always looking for a good game. Though I don't care for FF series I will purchase the game myself just to see how it is.
I will bet that FFXIII will sell at least the same amount on XBox 360 as it will on PS3. No lose situat...
Player911 nailed it. Exactly! We already have medals on 360. They are just going to change the system so you can list your latest acheivments.
Hohum... people reaching for news.
... if Sony actually new that XBox was going to be getting FF series wouldn't you think they would have spoiled their glory by outing the news PRIOR to E3?
If in fact they did know about it (in what ever form they did) then the only logical thing to do would be to come out and fess it up so that the sensationalism of the surprise wouldn't favor Microsoft.
Think about it... it's like the 8 mile white boy Eminem calling you out on what you are going to say thing....
Video error? Are the graphics that poor that they thought it could be a PSP game? I would have thought that any game that had PS3 quality graphics and was being shown as a PSP game would have had people talking like crazy???!!! Wow... look what the PSP can do!? No? Nothing? Hhhmmmmm.... just makes you wonder?
FF was never a Sony franchise as has already been stated. It appeared on Nintendo before Sony and had even jumped to XBox late in it's last generation years. Sony, Microsoft and anyone else that has a clue... new that SE was going to be an inevitable game playing on the XBox 360.
SE will work it's magic with this version of FF to get the lips of 360 fans wanting more. Then when they are happy that they have been welcomed with open arms they will start moving more resources to ...
Wow... take your goggles off people. Hippityhop did NOT own anything in that interview. He asked questions, and he got answers. Seemed like this Green guy simply was stunned how stupid the Bluray question was... like duh, what is so special about Bluray? High Def? Uhhhmmmm... huge High Def library available. "But not on BLuray", haaa... that's like saying yeah you got a copy of GTA IV... but not on Bluray. Bluray is the new Sony Memeory stick...
And Hippityhop, hey ma...
rotflmao....
Ha... PS3 is like the Patriots in ways. Seems like they keep stealing the other teams playbook. If you can't beat 'em... join 'em. ha
Hhhmmmm... it must have been no better then the current MGO with it having no real talk about it. I heard that MGO was boring, how is it really?
Spike... you act like the kid who is jealous of your friends new bike and is always saying... "wait until my dad buys me the new blah blah blah, it is going to be so much cooler". And the kid with the new bike just rides off into the sunset having fun while you walk home waiting for your dad to sober up and get a job.
Lack of a list in Achievements? Just click on the game and it shows you the Achievements you need to get and how much each is worth. Yes maybe a few secret Achievemnts among the few to add for flavor but for the most part it is straight forward.
The Trophy system is the opposite though. You don't know how much each action is worth until after you get it (or so I have read on OCNN, yep that is my sourse) If that is incorrect then tell me.
You seem to think that ...
Obviously you are clueless about Achievements. The number under your gamertag is an instant visual of your Achievements total. You can then look at all of your achievements anytime you need. Not only that but you can see exactly what you had to do to get each Achievement.
While what I read about the Trophy system is that you don't get a visual of what you had to do for each Trophy just a Trophy and how many you got of each. What is that worth? What did you do to get it? Who ca...
You have lost the point. Unlockables and Achievements are totally seperate. An unlockable doesn't give you any true record of worth. It is more like collecting baseball cards with no true value assigned. An achievement is something that you can compare a true competative value. As are Trophies but in a watered down form.
Keep looking B3yond. Maybe you'll get there someday?
It is comical how he writes about how PSN not having many games that support chat is a good thing. Making a negative look like a posative. Sony classic. lol
The Achievements system is reflective of the old arcade high score system. Basically we went to arcades to play games, but we stayed with games to get on that high score list. We went to school the next day and bragged to our friends how we got the high score in Galaga or Donkey Kong. Now MS brought back that feeling with t...
Give him a break. He is still upset that he has to play his PS2 for good RPG games because his B3yond machine hasn't caught up to the market need for good RPG's just yet. Sony is too busy trying to get into MS 1st person universe to remember they used to thrive on their RPG greatness. Oh well,,, hard to teach an old dog new tricks? Or is that old tricks? Oh well,,, whatever.
Original MGO? There was a previous Metal Gear Online?? When did that happen?
I see it amusing that I rarely see Fans harping about loyalty when an exclusive goes from Microsoft to Sony. But it pops up everyplace when a Sony Exclusive goes to Microsoft. Just amusing... sitting back and laughing.
I personally would LOVE to see Halo go to the PS3 just to see the PS3 Fanboys harp on how great it is. It would be poetic justice.
