You have maybe 1 add in the lower right hand box. You act as if it something that pops up and hits you in the face.
Not a single add is obtrusive and glares at you in the face.
They are simply placed and hinder the experience absolutely none at all.
Again they are not suing the actor they are suing the companies for using the Kevin Butler character. Which they DID NOT. No mention of the character name or any resemblance to the Kevin Butler other then the fact he looks the same (duh) and he is playing a video game.
So Sony is basically saying they patented his likeness? Not possible...
Why didn't they sue David Hayter for voicing another character in a video game other then Medal Gear? His voice is j...
"SCEA claims that Bridgestone and Lambert violated one of Sony’s intellectual properties. Which one? Well, Kevin Butler."
How did they violate the Kevin Butler property? They didn't use his name or even the attitude of Kevin Butler in that Ad. The character he played in the Ad was much too passive and dorky compared to Kevin Butler and his take charge attitude.
They are basically saying because his likeness (does he have to wear a disguise from ...
@Cupid_Viper_3
The only issue here is they are not suing the actor who might be in breach of contract. They are suing the companies that utilized him. And regardless of who is President... they can't sue the company for using him... they can only confront the actor if he is in breach.
List is a total fail without the inclusion of the original Gears of War Mad World Trailer.
@jagstatboy "Problem is, it's been done before as it looks like a female Nathan Drake/Uncharted game."
Did you just say that Tomb Raider has been done before and it looks like a female version of an Uncharted game?
I just have to laugh.... hahahahaha
Not really seeing the little 8 bit VMU display as anything even close to what is being discussed.
It in itself was really separate from the Dreamcast itself, though the VMU could be considered a rudimentary hand held.
But I guess you thought the Tamagotchi games walked the line too? Lets not get stupid.
Most gamers do not consider any handheld a console. A console is a system that is set in one place and runs their games through a TV. (LCD, Plasma...etc.)
A handheld is a handheld. it has it's own display system and is portable.
Wii-U is barely walking that thin line between a console and a handheld. Having it's own display system but not sure exactly how much gaming can be done without a TV hooked into it?
Just in time for all the uneducated moms to buy their kids one because the Gamestop employees will be pushing them hard.
Why are they? It is a handheld... and at the end of a current generation turn over. Lack of interest should be normal.
People are going to be looking forward to PS4, Xbox 720, and even the new Nintendo system... (what was that called again? ha).
Considering it likely will be no better then the current gen PS3 and Xbox 360 then why would they think it would be the best of NEXT gen??
PS2 was easy compared to the PS3. If you don't make a machine developer friendly then don't expect developers to show you their love.
As for not paying for exclusives? Sure they do... it is called internal development.
And ask what they paid EA/DICE for a minimal advance exclusive on DLC for their system.
Don't pay for exclusives? Right... keep thinking your system is some how better then all the other systems in some mythical e...
As has been said MANY times. PS3 is not DEV friendly. Even those dealing exclusively with PS3 only... have found tremendous issues with the system.
Not code friendly at all.
I have always been a fan of his work on screen and in voice acting in games. He was a talent that will be missed.
America is basically loosing interest in the fluffy games. Pokeman, Mario, Mickey Mouse... etc.
A new generation that grows up with War titles and FPS games that dominate the market.
Old school... is well... old.
Sony, MS, and Nintendo are trying to get the family market but the big sales in the US is still the FPS and more violent titles.
Dislike only because of the "I know you are but what am I" mentality of throwing a statement at the end insinuating any dislikes automatically makes them support your post.
Childish at best.
They used Rare as a team/tool to Launch their Kinect. With it as their primary focus.
And you know what... it turned out to be a perfect cash boom for MS.
I don't own Kinect myself but it sure has helped MS grow their system into more of a family friendly console regardless of what so called hardcore gamers might think.
So be it... and KI was never really a good game... come on... we have to admit it was little more then another fightin...
Somebody needs to get smart and buy the company and strip it down for parts. Selling titles out to different buyers... or something.
@BattleAxe
Really???... obviously Sony isn't going to be able to make many large purchases for awhile. If you haven't heard they have been looking at a very large negative trend in their cash flow!
Actually no they can't detect if you played Halo 4 prior to date. If you don't connect your system online and allow auto update of time then you simply could have the system setup to years in the past... in that case all games might appear to be played prior to purchase.
Or you could even set it far in the future... as many of us did to glitch in Fable 2 and earn a whole lot of in game cash for rent. :D
So if you are stupid enough to go online with it...
