Doubt it... next console you will see more business leaning towards pay as you play.
People call STEAM a free network service. Well it is NOT. It is a game sales service that offers Network so that people will buy it's products and play on their service.
It is all virtual thus saving all expenses to advertising and network thumb print.
The large point that many don't understand is the amount of money Microsoft puts into making their network secure and closed.
The cost to us is a secure theater to play in.
Some say it is no longer the Gold Standard. And yet it is still the BEST network system for gaming. Nobody has stepped up to challenge the issue other then those that claim similar experience is available through other services for less or no cost.
But these are not...
PS2 is not a game. It is a game system. And if you are playing BF3 then you are likely playing it on a PS3 NOT a PS2.
How so... the numbers here are only those that registered on P-stats.com and do not reflect the total amount of players playing BF3. Only those registered for the stats service. So those NOT registered wouldn't reflect.
It is like trying to count the number of players that bought the game by the amount of purchases on Amazon. And totally ignore the buyers who don't use the Amazon purchase service.
Which is funny... because every time I check my stats I see different reflection of who is online. While checking this article I simply took a snap shot of who was currently online.
Global stats
PC online 20 310
PS3 online 37 917
360 online 31 961
No 'Riderz1337' the title does not suggest that. The title suggests that it is talking about games playable on the Xbox 360.
As has been pointed out before... the website is discussing for it's readers the best games they can play on the Xbox 360 that might not be on everyone's radar.
The reason that the PS3, PC and other tags are NOT included is because they have nothing to do with the main focus of the article.
If people wer...
@jivah and @Ace_Pheonix
Arming everyone would not solve the issue. As we see the majority of these people are looking at causing pain and then being ready to die with their guns in their hands.
You have everyone with guns and then you have the bigger issue of people solving problems with a simple pull of the trigger.
Many states even allow open gun carry and you can walk around with a shotgun if you wish. How would that make anyone feel wit...
To focus on the protection from the bad guys by making armed good guys a counter is not the resolve.
We already have many situations where even armed trained police have not been able to contain situations with armed bad guys that have weapons capable of doing great harm in little time.
How does putting a gun in the hands of Joe Schmoes and place them at the entrance to schools to be shot resolve this situation?
We can't say let the bad g...
Isn't that why Serious Sam was so addictive? The enemies just kept running straight at you.
Correct... if a game comes out too late to be nominated then it can be nominated the following year.
Yes... Mass Effect 1 did have long load times and pop-in. (but the pop-in was actually just texture pop-in from what I recall) but how long ago was that? You would think they would resolve those issues instead of just bringing them to the PS3 in this day and age?
So basically you are just saying it is one massive conspiracy against Nintendo? hahaha
The reason people attack most any system is because system PR teams come out and spout total rubbish that is soon proven inaccurate.
And Wii U has came out and spouted basically the biggest lie of them all... that they are a next generation system. When in fact they are more like the Kinect... just a current generation add-on.
(yes we know the Wii-U is no...
He is lying... no such thing happened.
Many people are still playing it using a connection to their PC and routing software to other gamers emulating the direct Xbox connection.
I see it every day on BF3 as people get their stats reset and then claim they did nothing wrong. Ok... maybe they boosted to get level 100 and got a 600 kill streak in a game... but hey... they did nothing wrong. haha As if!
@Eyeco
Boosting in effect skews the leaderboards and gives a false representation of a persons skills. The multiplayer world is just what it is advertised as... a game between multiple players. A person that boosts and effectively gets perks and/or weapons that they did not earn through skill and time played will tarnish the multiplayer arena.
You don't see it as cheating but it effectively is... if you are gaining an unearned advantage by manipulating vi...
Wii U is current Generation Version 2.
Terrible and yet another ploy to get hits on a webpage. They take every choice and make you click to the next page to see each person on the list.
And then they go so far as to make it appear like they are giving you a vote by only showing you 90 of the 100 and then having votes go to the final 10!
An obvious ploy to get return clicks on the webpage.
Make this article a pass and don't support this type of poor advertising ploy for a websi...
Just because your HDD goes down doesn't mean you lost all your data. I semi-competent data retrieval service can grab the data off the HDD and I myself could put it back onto a new HDD for him to be able to use most of his saves still.
Isn't he a computer guy? What is he going on about?
So you are saying you have free internet? Let me guess... you leach of your neighbors internet?
