To be honest I thought I would have been more excited than I am, it still looks very dated if you ask me, I still havent bought a 3DS due to lack of games and I might even skip this and just wait for the new Mario, at least its not a remake.
Wii doesnt have "bog standard" dvd drive as writer puts it, it has the same drive as a 360 which is dual layer. Smash bros for a start is a dual layer disc. I hate reading articles which have wrong facts, kind of discredits a lot of everything else they say.
Looks average I expect better for a subscription based game.

I dont think it looks as good as my Fanatec Turbo S wheel, the big shifter paddles look a bit ugly. What I am interested in is how it feels though, I can see 1080degrees rotation there which is interesting considering all wheels only have 900 to date, another thing the wheel size actually looks much bigger than the usual 30cm we have with current wheels. This would be far more realistic and offer even finer control if it is bigger. I'm also glad GT5 got a new official wheel cos it deserve...
It was a good point about the game not having the 3 TopGear cars though, this should have been a cert considering the test track is included it only seems obvious to include the 3 cars as well. I hope they do release them as DLC as they will definitely go down a storm.

Do you guys not care about the ugly purple border they gave us with Sonic Adventure? After that shambles I wont be buying any more dreamcast rehashes I'm afraid unless they decide to at least give us full screen. Its not too much to ask.

Terminal damage is something which doesnt really bother me as it just means you have to hit restart anyway if your car is broke.
Sure micro SD cards can hold 16GB now and they are tiny and it wont be long until the 32GB is out so I'm more than positive that the new DS carts will be able to house 2 upgraded N64 games (the originals were only 64MB after all!)
I have a triple screen setup for forza 3 and it really is pretty spectacular however there are loads of faults with the game that has not been fixed (that I've noticed so far), like on the heat races the triple screens doesnt work only the front one - the side screens stay white, and when using the 64 ferrari or whatever it is the ferrari changes from a ferrari to a black voltwagon passat/bora with black windows and black wheels on both side screens for some reason. Whats he talking about 2 brilliant handheld Zeldas and we are quite content? Speak for yourself. Phantom Hourglass was good but Spirit Tracks is a load of piss. The train section are so bad I have to turn the DS off usually. I still havnt finished it. I thought Nintendo were trying to win back core gamers and also get 3rd party publishers onboard. How is dlc suppoesed to be added to an 8GB console if the games are 1080p? It cant be true and if it is then Nintendo just messed up their next console as well. I dont care if Wii sales were great Wii did not earn the respect of real gamers on the majority.
