Any gamer worth their salt had a memory cartridge for it.
I just hope the "quality of games" don't suffer because of it. Nintendo already admitted they underestimated the develpoment time of HD games and they are already spread thinly, so how have they got time to start a complete new side business without affecting workflow on new games?
What on Earth is keeping them from launching the N64 and GBA titles? Along with all the other consoles that the Wii had, like TurboGFX16, NeoGeo, Mastersystem etc. Some select GC titles like Paper Mario 2, F-Zero GX, Double Dash & Eternal Darkness would be fantastic news as well. One Wii U VC release whenever there are so many great games that they could be bringing out doesn't make any sense.
If I had to pick 5 to play forever onwards I would pick:
Sega Rally Championship 1995 - Arcade/NTSC-J Saturn/NTSC-J PS2,
GT5 Academy Edition - Triple monitor - Wheel & Pedals,
Dirt 2 - PC - Triple monitor - Wheel & Pedals,
WipEout HD,
F-Zero GX.
For me these games don't get old so they would have to be my top 5.
Wow, i had no idea a remaster would take so much work. Excellent job as well.
It's addictive, not addicting.
This is what wrc1 should have looked like, this looks a lot better than the previous two but still not as good as it could be.
Well this is what they said they are doing for GRID 2. It wouldn't surprise me.
Removing cockpit view cos only 5% of players used it.
I hear what you are saying but I do not agree with this. All developers have to do is include a control scheme for original 3ds onwers as well as the 2nd analogue control scheme and this is problem solved. A few examples of this: 1) when dualshock came to ps1 games could use the analogues or still use the d-pad. 2) Games released on ios, no matter which ipad you have you can still play all games - developers simply tone graphics down for older ipads. 3) Kinect enhanced game like Mass Effect 3...
I wish Nintendo would swap the A & B buttons and the X & Y. Having them backwards for Western audiences is stupid.
I only have 2 Platinums in my entire collection, WipEout HD & GT5 - both were very hard.
Well its definitely not true for sim racing fans realsim is better.
Random battles just decided this for me.
Sounds like loaded or reloaded maybe?
Sounds like geometry wars on 360?
Good luck with the platinum trophy!
I know the Dreamcast is a favourite amongst real gamers but I prefered the Saturn way more. Sega Rally, (SR2 didnt compare), Nights, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, Shining Force 3, Exhumed all just brilliant. I was late at getting the PS1 by a year or so I think I got it just before FFVII came out, just wow, that game was incredible. The quality of games on the PS1 and Saturn even the N64 for their time was mind blowing. My favourite gaming era and I'm glad I was part of it.
@matey
What a truely shocking arrangement of the alphabet.
If you are using the handbrake to turn corners you definitely do not know how to play it correctly. I have all the stars (level 80), including all Elite, DLC and Bikes expansion stars and the only time I used the handbrake was for drift events. The handling model is sublime, and drifting is not a big part of the experience if you do not want it to be. You just need more practice. Best racing game this gen so far. Incredible support from Evolution as well. Well done.
