Big issue that i have experienced with vr is the motion sickness headache. Its a fun experience but can be disorienting. Hard to completely buy in with a large portion of population unable to experience
Keep on trying fanboys... the reality is microsoft will release the most powerful console in 2017. They may adopt vr support if vr is of value to market.they will not over commit on a device. Vr is neat but i have yet to be amazed with my oculus. I think ps vr has some good game concepts that i am excited to play.

The reality of consoles are that the hardware isnt the profit maker for sony and microsoft. The console is a marketplace control. You make money via games and liscensing of games... you make money via sales of controllers and small accessories. Microsoft is opening their marketplace. Would they like more console sales? Of course bc that increases residuals on digital sales, xbox live and locks in consumers to their platform at a higher attachment.
How does including more users alienate another install base? Consoles are better bang for the buck to deliver content to living room. The consumer is being served by removing the barrier to pc market. I can invest in a great pc and still play xbox or i can spend 400$ and play xbox on sofa... is a customer not going to buy an xbox bc game isnt exclusive to xbox and they dont have pc capable? I highly doubt it. People buy games bc the game interest their enterment needs.

Dr4 seems to be multiplatform.
Psnow is a joke. Tried it and found lag too much... not ready for prime time feature. Ps4 sharing is also far too laggy and prone to disconnect. Great on paper but poorly executed. I agree that it will be the platform of the future when the internet and server build improves
