I could see the comment applied to psvr and pro but hardly to what xbox showed. Strong commitment to 4k platform and perfirmance gains. Plenty of reason to choose it as standard platform for most console choices. Showed a very nice looking jrpg, forza, sea of theaves, 2 titles towards the end that were hightlighted looked very interesting. Anthem looks amazing ... that is what destiny had hoped to look like... some great pc indie titles picked up and a very solid exclusive fps in metro world. There is plenty there to get people to xbox.

The reality was or is season pass is the method aaa titles get 100$ for a 60$ product. Dlc that cost a 3rd of the game or more should have significant development and addition to games. 1 hr content or a few maps is an insult to gamers.
Sonys line up has been shown for well into 2018 which isnt a bad thing. Sony has a real good pacing of the AAA releases thus far... not too much that you cant play everything but solid titles during each quarter.

I have played red dead and a few others but of course new conten t dominates hrs played. Doesnt mean i dont use content... i would do same with ps4 if metal gear games were capable of being played with bc
Give me a break... ms and nintendo are making money. Xbox lost dominance in usa this cycle due to a better roll out plan by sony. Microsoft was arrogant about past success. Europe and asia are essentially the same as before... sony keeping the 3rd party content exclusives is the real separator for them in my eyes. Destiny turned out to be a driver along with a few other titles...

Vr has not gained traction that would justify bringing to platform. Not 1 game is compelling enough to make that statement... its neat but i rarely use my rift. Sony defocused attention from vr in fact the titles shown were minor and in some cases embarassing (ff fishing)... vr may not be an adopted platform for another couple of years if at all
