Nintendo has always charged a too much for their locked product line. They will profit from their ip on multiple tiers. I enjoy their products but can wait until market settles down in 3rd quarter or 4th 2017 to get a deal.
Pricing isnt as dangerous for nintendo if they deliver on exclusive zelda and mario. They will make a profit if those 2 titles are above average. Nintendo will not control market nor take market from sony or microsoft with their current pricing and game...
Nintendos exclusive offerings must be the best for 2017 of all platforns or it will be dead on arrival. I wish they had a stronger lineup but it doesnt look deep enough to even consider until 4th quarter
Its kinda of sad that nintendo keeps making the same mistakes . I might buy a 300 console from them but i know that i am on the crazy side that owns everything ... but a 5 game release? In march? Just dont release it until summer and have 7 games?!?! Wait only 7 to 10 games and some of those are crappy ports. I doubt nintendo survives this
I enjoyed the showing. Device has promise to provide a great portable solution. I look forward to playing nintendo exclusives in it in 2017

I agree to some degree. Console price points have shown that entering market beyond the 400 mark is slow traction point. The cost to produce should be less than that price for ms. Ms should want this to be an extender to the brand life and not a niche. I expect ps4 pro to become defacto base unit next year for consumer... scorpio should fit same mold
I have a hard time paying 60 for any release. I will not pay that for an indie game unless a friend developed which has never happened. They took advantage of the media hype. I cant fault them for it , but i did not buy and will not until discount cut it below 20 and fully patched. Many people did get many many hours of play before complaining... torn on the left out features. It will impact future sales is the only certainty

Good for microsoft. Great value for a system. Sony will have a nice holiday season with psvr and pro. Slim will sell but why anyone would buy vs pro is beyond me... it will be a fun fall for gamers
Rx480 is 200$ gpu that is near spec of scorpio... 400 is very doable for large run manufacturing and still have profit. Especially 1 year from now. Total cost will be in 300 to 350 range max by release. Fanboys dont want to pay attention to real numbers and markets of scale... good luck with you beoken dreams of japanese ruled gaming world
400 price will be a break even or very slight profit for scorpio. Current amd video cards show... 1 year out will be possible. Microsoft just hast a recent history of higher target prices which hasnt shown to be positive

Dont miss your chance ? Is it a one time only production? 4 games with the one system seller available on wii u. The preorder media hype is fake. The production release is limited like all nintendo products to minimize working capital. The thought that this is going to sell 10 million units in a year is far fetched... do i want one? Sure . Am i going to race to get one before mario... not unless a discount tales place to make it worth it. It would sit unplayed like my wii u
